Ouch he barely is hitting those high Cs. On a few of them he is vocalizing into them. I don't understand why he included this if the song on the album since he clearly struggled on it; it's not like he was in a production of Fille where he would be forced to sing it. He lacks the strength that JDF has on the high notes.

it's not that he doesn't have a big voice, that has NOTHING to do with talent... hear some real leggiero tenors (like Simoneau, Alva for ex.) and you have the proof. But an opera singer should never do scoops and have air in his voice.

I disagree. I have great respect for Bocelli, but this aria felt very dis-jointed. it's a huge aria, and he has the range, but it felt a litlle steccato at times. either way - good job, i would just expect more at an opera house.

No, he's not good with most of the arias (some yes,)
this one is an F performance;
very sped up notes only because of lack of rhythm,
high notes are unstable (too nasal too)

The high C's sound fine but the other notes are strained and tight due to Bocelli's inadequate breath support. And his French is bad.
