how you handle Jack In The Box Zombie when it comes suddenly and explode up to 2 gloom-shroom on the water? I only reach 248 flag because of that :(

this series of videos shows Jacks in almost every set. Flags 1024-44 has Jacks, 1044-46 more Jacks, (46-48 is without them!) 1050-52 Jacks again, and 1052-54 again with more Jacks!

watch Flags 1042-1044 where i get hammered, losing 1 Gloom and the pumpkin gets blown off another. always have your gear with you when Jacks are in the next round.

when it happens, plant the Fume Shrooms and do the Gloom in front first while you recover.

a symmetric build might work just as well. this is the final layout i decided on after trying more obvious things. it has proved itself.

#1 reason i found it to be good is that i can make a pair of flags last longer.

i can concentrate Cobs on the bottom 3 rows for kills ASAP and try to get rid of the upper 3 in other slower ways. thats why the gloom is in row 1, to finish off the last guy of the set.

the top and bottom also wear out differently and helps spread the load of repairs.

When I first look at this build it doesn't look like it should work as well as it does. The fact you made it past flag 1000 is pretty ridiculous, considering the furthest I've ever made it is flag 200. I use 3 cob cannons, but this video has convinced me to upgrade to 4. Good work on the base and Transmetropoliton is awesome.

200 is good but i think a setup and a player would be fully tested after 500.

if so, it is supposed to be red on the left fading to black on the right. that's just how i had it set :)

the Melonpult is there because the whole first column is flexible to be changed as i see fit. upgrading it to a Winter Melonpult would be a mistake.

i didn't lose any plants but i do lose them because 1000 flags is a long ass time! .

i have even lost 2 lawn mowers during the game, you would have noticed if you were a player, and mentioned that instead.

the end of this video shows you what is part of the setup. anything without a pumpkin is temporary.

EL's 8 Cob firepea build is also one of those. This setup may be hard to play, but it isn't bad. It's actually pretty unique!
