This video was my idea... and I thank Ned for taking the time to do it... Karen's vocal on "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" is by far for me the best every out to record. It's that combination of both haunting and innocents that captures the essences of the woman that was Eva Peron... While Madonna's reading was very good in the movie.. Karen will always be my first choice for this song..

I love Karen. But Madonna was made for this song. Karen's voice is just not believable in this version. Despite the inferior pipes, Madonna's is.
