You should definitely think of doing a modern remix of it. The old Celestial Fantasia will always remind a timeless classic, but a remake could bring it to new people..
At the time, it was comparable (in quality) to 3dmark's first effort at a 3d benchmark - 3dmark 99, which sadly only runs on Windows 98 as far as I remember. That was Directx based only. Tirtanium supported OpenGl and Directx.
