You will only qualify for unarmed licenses, then find a 24 hr class that is required by FL. Try either with a community college or just call a security company after you graduate the class get an application for license through the florida department of agriculture and consumer services website and complete according to their instructions. they may want to have you blue card finger printed to keep on file. that can be done at your local PD for a small fee.

Florida code 493.6106 outlines the minimum qualifications for issuance. I read it and encourage you to do the same just in case I missed something. But... From what I understand as long as you have never been adjudicated mentally incompetent or had two DUI's 3 years prior to application for the license you should be good to go
