Man, everytime I see Vargas, I just have to wonder, "what could of been?" He had all the tools to become one of the best boxers of his time. I think he was rushed and that fight with Trinidad basically turned him into an average fighter. That loss, he never recovered from. This dude was a warrior in the ring.
