i recently went to a game at Yankee Stadium against the Indians and A-Rod hit a line drive right at the young pitcher, David Huff. He hit him right in the head and the poor guy hit the ground knocked out. It really scared the entire stadium. We all thought he was dead. He was on the ground for like 10 minutes and then they picked him up and we gave him a standing ovation. he gave us a thumbs up to show he was okay. very dramatic moment. He was fine. I saw this game & also witnessed when Greenberg was beaned in back of the head. It was awful, & is also a terrible shame that he never made a return back to the majors after just 1 pitch! That's a record that won't EVER be broken!

Given that the Mets are just down the Connecticut Turnpike from where you play, Adam, they should give you a call. Or maybe you should give them a call. They certainly have no depth in their minor league system, as this season has proven. You would be a good fit with them and it would be a great feel good story, something that franchise could definitely use. Good luck to you.

This really is a great story, I intern with the Bluefish and he certainly works his ass off in the cage before the games and busts his ass during them.. I wish him nothing but the best. If he sticks with Return of the Mack as his intro song as I requested, he'll be back in the Show in no time

Adam watchin you play high school ball made me realize that size did not matter if your heart is big enough to push you to be your best. When you left high school it was my turn to run that field at GHS! While playin college ball in Florida I would gather my team around the tv to watch the Cubs spring training games and I would point out how we went to the same high school and that you would be a great MLB player... This is a ridiculously touching story that so many of us can relate to as far as "living the dream" is concerned. In a world full of divas, outed cheaters and greedy fools in denial you're a bright light for a game of baseball that everybody can rally behind. Having hung with you at your workout on Thursday there is no doubt that your natural talent and dogged determination will bring you back to the show.
