thanks for the video....I make the same ghormesabzi, without frying nothing, 2 cups dried parsley/3 cups black eyed peas(frozen from walmart)/3 cut or diced potatoes/onion powder/garlic powder/salt/5 tbs tomato paste/4 cups water/5 tbs country gravy powder/ ...just boil all of them for 20 to 25 minutes...then add 2or 3 tsp lemon juice...it tastes exactly as tasty as when i was in iran and families they made it with frying in iran....frying is not good for your health
im trying to find that iranian dish that is basically a chicken stew but its stew juice is red and it has runner beans potatoes and other veggies , does anyone know what im talkin bout ??and if so please tell me the name
I believe that is khoreshte lapeh (lentil stew). There is also a khoreshte loobia (green bean stew) but that is made with beef. Send me a message if you need the recipe and I'll get it from my mom ;)

This looks and sounds very tasty.
I'd like to know if the limes are there just for the flavor or if you can eat them as well?

@decipel101 @decipel101 you can definitely eat them. They get very soft after you cook them. The texture is a bit rubbery but they taste great :)
