They need all of the money that they can get. $5 for each album might not sound like a lot, but if say, only 50 people buy it...That's $250. They can use that for more studio time, more tour spots so that they can continue to do what they do financially. Obviously a lot more than 50 people buy it, but if 10 people DL it instead of buy it, that's less studio time=less music.

@WhispoWithTheBest If you want to "share the music", you should just make videos with the songs. You can preach and tell people to buy the ep off itunes all you want, but seriously, how many people are going to buy it when they already have it for free? You know they can sue you for this, so I think you should respect them a little and stop trying to share things that don't belong to you in the first place.

first off, i'm not 'preaching' to anyone. i'm not telling people to buy the album, either. i've already shared my views on this matter; buying the album is the best thing, but i know that when i listen to a new song that i love on youtube, i just want to download it right then so i can have it on my iPod when i go out & everything. sometimes, people don't always have the money to take the songs with them.

the guys in Set it Off are super chill but i highly doubt they'd appreciate their music out there illegally.
i think it'd be better to support the band and buy their music rather than download it illegally and take that money away from them.
they have amazing music, and its worth more than the few bucks you'd have to pay to get the EPs, let alone for free.

I was in the High School Band with Cody and Dan and they're 2 good friends. I support their band totally, but they don't have that much cash. They even had to cancel a tour because they ran out of money. : /

They get like 75% of the money they make which is like $4 or $6 for each album that should take at least about $50 to record a part of.

They need all of the money that they can get. $5 for each album might not sound like a lot, but if say, only 50 people buy it...That's $250. They can use that for more studio time, more tour spots so that they can continue to do what they do financially. Obviously a lot more than 50 people buy it, but if 10 people DL it instead of buy it, that's less studio time=less music.
