"I know my circumstance in this season doesn't change that God is still God. It doesn't change what God's called me to be here and what he's called me to do. And He's still in the throne in Heaven, you know, and He still rules and He's still bigger than everything that i am facing."
I was just asked to sing this song at my church in a couple weeks. I lost my son Aidan this past March. I went into preterm labor at 22 weeks. I wish God could tell me why this happened..but I need to continue to trust in him. It has been a rough road and I will always feel an empty space in my heart. My husband wonders why I still want to go to church and how I can continue to lead in worship. My answers are not always clear, but I just have to believe Gods heart is aching. He too lost a son.
@star009r I know our human minds try to understand everything, but when it comes to G-d, we will never fully understand His ways. Personally, I think that question is impossible for anyone to answer. But I will admit, for a fraction of a second my mind wen there too, but then I remembered I must never question Him xo

I cried after hearing this interview. She is so strong after going through all that and still praising God. I had already loved this song and considered it my life song. I love worshipping God and I know that despite all things in my life when I worship I feel the most closest to him. In every season I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship.
Powerful testimony!!! May the Lord grant you the desires of your heart!
Your testimony has encouraged me a lot, and will uplift the faith of many who are losing their hope in the Saviour. Jesus said, "In this world you will have tribulation. But remember, "I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.""
SHE SAYS THE WORD F*** AT 1:46, THAT'S WRONG THAT MEANS SHE IS NOT VERY SPRITUAL, WERE IS THE SPRITUAL THEN?, I KNOW SHE WAS CRYING BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN NOTHING...
@rolk4009 Someone with a testimony like that, and an obvious deep level of maturity in Christ certainly still sins like the rest of us, but someone of that level of spiritual maturity won't make that kind of obvious open curse. I can see how you thought it sounded like that, but she was definitely saying "like" while exhaling and gathering thoughts, so the pitch in her voice dropped and it came out funny...but, not a curse word.
I don't think either jill or Brook wrote the song, they only singed it and identied with the song specially Jill that's why I think they put both to talk about it. The songs are usually wrote by Morgan, Ben, and Joel.
@SirTorment When anyone who goes to heaven is not saved but is too young to understand the ideas of faith and relationship with God, their souls go to heaven just like a saved person would, because physical bodies aren't the ones who go to heaven it's the soul (:
I believe baby went to heaven. If you go to page 2 of these comments, you can read my story. I lost my boy, Mark, and I believe i will hold him in heaven again!!!! I always think of him as a cute little angel Mark singing Hallelujah in heaven :)

Almost 3 weeks ago I gave birth to our first boy, Mark, when he was only 22 weeks and 1 day and he lived for one hour and I watched him die in my hands. He was so tiny and cute and it was hard to give birth to a baby you know you have to let go. But yes my God is good and I know He is in control. And this week I am getting ready for a ladies conference and I know it will be a victory for me and an example of faith and victory for all ladies. I know that God never changes and He is still with me.
AWESOME testimony, and REFRESHING affirmation of saying and doing what we KNOW to be right before God, even during those times we might not "FEEL" it...TRUTH remains TRUE, regardless of any emotion, or lack thereof!
@TheSmoothJazzer (cont'd)....So, when life is hopeless and dreadful, know that in Christ, God will one day make all things right, and how they were always intended to be, and He will "wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, nor crying, nor pain" (Revelation 21:4). We have a hope in Him, but we also have a present hope and peace already in Christ in the here and now as He renews us and wipes away our every tear. Hope that helps, sorry to be so long :)
@TheSmoothJazzer (cont'd)...You see, when we couldn't climb our was back to God, He stepped down to us, and became The Way and The Life. Through Christ, God set the foundation of making all things new! And this is in one sense already happened, but in another, not completely finished. Bec God wills for the entirety of Creation to be made new--to be restored, perhaps even beyond it's original glory (Revelation 20-22)...
@TheSmoothJazzer (cont'd)... I Don't mean to short-change the realness and pain of suffering--it is SO tangible and deep-cutting! But we must also remember that neither does God short-change it. God burns with zeal against the injustices of this world and pains we feel--so much so that He stepped into this reality as one of us. Lord Jesus experienced every suffering known to man, and in doing so and overcoming it and death, has made it possible for all of us to do the same...
@TheSmoothJazzer (cont'd)...He wants to partner with us to bring about wholeness and completion in this world. He wants us surrendered and intune with His plan and will. Too often we look to the heavens asking God "why"--not that this is bad to do, but it shouldn't be our only response--but never take the next step of then asking God "how can You working in my submission to You now bring about healing and restoration?"...
@TheSmoothJazzer (cont'd)....We pain and cry and hate the suffering and evil in the world, BUT we don't realize that God feels the same way- His heart breaks over the suffering of His people. And it's not that He's incapable of preventing or stepping into our realities and bringing change--we see this in the situations we call "luck" or "miracles"--but it's that He respects our freewill, which to truly be freewill necessitates that we experience the consequences of our decisions....
@TheSmoothJazzer (cont'd)....world is not because God has intended it to be so, but because we are ALL broken and sinful, which is even seen in creation itself--plates were never meant to shift deep below the surface of the sea creating massive tsunamis that devastate entire peoples, tornadoes were never meant to steam roll the country, disease was not existent in creation before the Fall, which began with Adam and Eve....
@TheSmoothJazzer Hey bud, I don't mean to throw out a "simple solution" because I think that this is a Q that we ultimately cannot give pinpoint and specific answers to. But I do think we must remember that this world we live in is broken and not how it should be as a result of our sinfulness--going back to Adam and Eve. Sin entered the world thru them, and the impact was colossal--there is not an aspect of creation--and humanity--that has not been marred by it. The presence of evil in this....
I Love this song.... There is God,but there is us too... Sometimes we forgotten who we are and what we are capable of. Believe in Yourself and Listen to your Heart... We are all a part of all and all is One... a part of God sow we can create too... Believe, trust, create and manifest... There is sow much more... Unconditional Love is The Key... In our Hearts theres Love... you are the Key... In Gratitude,Unconditional Love and Light! Magnolia.
To me there is not only God,there is us too,we forgotten who we are and what we are capable to do. Believe in Yourself and Listen to your Heart... We are all a part of all and all is One...a part of God sow we can create too... Believe, trust, create and manifest... There is sow much more... Unconditional Love is The Key... In our Hearts theres Love... you are the Key... In Gratitude,Unconditional Love and Light! Magnolia.

Satan is very real. The Bible says that he was once the leader of the cherubim (a type of angel) until he rebelled against God.
