  • (00)===V===(00)

  • Christine freaks me out. She's cool though.

  • The song "Bad to the Bone" made this movie worth while :)

  • Like I always say, no real car lover will EVER loan or sell their vehicle to a movie or television production company for any price. For example, how many Dodge Chargers were ruined for Bullit, Dukes of Hazzard, and Fast and Furious? Let 'em figure out how to make an exciting car chase with modern plasto-boxes and digital imaging!

  • they wasted all those priceless cars makin this movie !! what a waste !! these can never be replaced !! hollywood has no class man and no respect for history !!

  • Bloody hell, do American still at School until they're 30?

  • Christine is a 1958 model. Somebody must have sold their soul for her, because that model year Plymouth Sport Fury came ONLY in Buckskin Beige with a beige/cocoa/gold interior! Actually, a possessed Mopar is completely believable. A) She was built by the same company that brought you the Dodge DEMON - and B) I own a 'Cuda and it's sheer HELL changing spark plugs around a set of headers on a 440!

  • @Evilmokeynomnom my grampa bought a brand new Fury in 57 for 3'500 if u have facebook i have a old pic of my mom stanidinin front of it ill show u !!

  • I personaly think Christine is a beauty!! Everyone should know better then to mess with her!! :)

  • @1800Opel why did the engine rumbling almost make you cry??!!

  • I'd have that blonde chick!

  • how come i cant watch part 2?

  • @Gear1235 It got deleted

  • Is the guy who found the black guy dead Darnell? No wonder he hated that "mechanical asshole!"

  • @vector6977 Actually,I've often wondered the same thing..looks just like a younger version of him with the way his jaw that sticks out....think it might be.

  • That's the fastest death a black guy has had in any horror movie, dam, he didn't even have time to finish his blunt.

  • @androsky91 No, the car didn't want to get stoned.

  • Keith Gordon is awesome...and cute. ;)

  • of course theres the ignorant ass black dude smokin a cigar in the brand new car...

  • Where's part 2?

  • Stepen king wrote cristine.

  • WTF IS Part2? Stupid Youtube nazis!

  • maybe a sequel now would be nice....in the book she came back and killed the detective

  • If i ever come across a car like Christine im gonna fix it up (if needed) and i'll paint it red and call her Christine!

  • PEG LEG REAR

  • no, no remakes. instead, the second generatiation of christine should be fit for this era. this time, in a Pontiac rather then a plymouth. she would be christine's little sister.

  • @Lrules364 Christne should never be anything BUT a fury...

  • @Btownbrown30 thus why i said little sister

  • good movie

  • Btw a remake would be sick gotta have a kid that looks like Arnie tho

  • Chyeah!

  • PLEASE RE UPLOAD THE PARTS THAT R DOWN i love this movie

  • Christine is a 58 not a 57. Is there a diference?

  • @twistedyogert the taillights are different.

  • @twistedyogert Slight -- the inner lights which are the high beams on the 1958 are turn signals on the 1957. Plus a few others...

  • I love the V-8 sounds at the start. Must have been epic at the movies.

  • How the fuck is Part 2 blocked?

  • LIMITED SLIP NON R/T------SHOULDA GOT A SURE GRIP-----PROBABLY A 383 2 BARREL-----SEXY LOOKIN THOUGH

  • christine must have been a custom order car all the others were white

  • I saw this movie before I read the book and think it's a brilliant adaptation of the book. I know some people were unhappy with the movie 'IT' because they thought the book was better, but I think this is just as good as the book : )

  • I freaken love this move. and the car. ahh i want that car!

  • 7 ppl have no good taste in cars =/

  • Yes but you have to know that west world ( Europe and united states ) have many release and publish dates beginning with the first Release and ending to the final one Because united states and Europe are so Advanced in their Technology May be this 1983 is the final and last release to the developed closed countries like Sudan in Africa for Example ... But the real real release and production is the First one that is in 1970's feel it .

  • Was there the scene Arnie & Dennis talk about girls in the original book?

  • iim wearing hi def headphones and the 1st few second is fuckin terrifyin.

  • This is my favorite movie. Ever. Bad ass charger, I wonder where its at now.

  • This Film was filmed in 1977 and set in 1978 real 1970's films

  • @gorsian1979 That would be a neat trick since King published the book in '83 and Carpenter made the movie in '83...Both of which were OUTSTANDING!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this movie makesme fucking cream.

  • wow & minutes in and theyre already talking about sex,a whore, a girl with a mustache, and jacking off....I STARTING TO LIKE THIS MOVIE! :D

  • muy buena pelicula y muy lindo el auto

  • didnt make sence the guy who got his hand caught didnt do anything no sence

  • @xdavstratx Maybe it was like "a taste of things to come" Only my guess, though.

  • great film

  • Love the engine sound at the start.

  • Stand back, kids!

  • chistine is a good movie and book gijoe989.

  • At 3:07---Christine bit him!

  • its like herbie if he was THE DEVIL

  • They should have shown Dennis' car in the driveway before they showed Dennis. It's kind of menacing sitting there in the shadows, but because you've already seen that Dennis is just a regular kid, it takes some of the affect away.

  • (oo)=====V=====(oo) booh yah

  • man i loveeeeee this movie and that car

  • They should have said HOW christine got posessed.

  • @gforce4all

according to the book, she is possesed by her former owner.

  • @herbienbrian2 But according to the movie, she was posessed right on the assembly line.

  • @gforce4all

which I think is partly true, it was never fully explained (in the predictable stephen king manner) the writer made you think instead of simply feeding you the story.

  • @gforce4all NO NO ...its metaphoric for some cars are just BAD!!

  • @gforce4all my theory is her engine was made out of an old WWII panzer tanks wreck lol

  • @gforce4all and, they should have said how Little Red Riding Hood got Red....dumb ass!

  • @6000cat Little red riding hood WASN'T red.So I guess that makes YOU the DUMBASS!!

  • @gforce4all she might have always been that way.

  • @twistedyogert obviously we are led to believe that... due to no other choice.Would have made for a better story if we knew what happend from the VERY beginning..say..maybe a satan worshiper that worked at the plant commited suicide in the car...or.......

  • @gforce4all Christine was BORN posessed bra, as soon as it rolled through the line it was pure EVIL

  • @gforce4all she got possessed because she found out what a prius was.

  • @gforce4all The night the cars steel was being made, an evil villianess hell bent on demonic love, was trying to steal some metal for new torture device when she fell into the vat, thus releasing her spirit into the metal itself! That metal was used to make Christine. Sound good to you? Works for me!

  • @TunedPortZ28 I like it!

  • @gforce4all all cars are posessed but this one is bad to the bone!

  • @gforce4all all cars are posessed but this one is bad to the bone!

  • @peopleSrevArmy err... my car is not possessed

  • @gforce4all read the book

  • @gforce4all Read the book

  • haha your not gonna get someone driving a charger to slow down.. haha

  • I watched this movie over weekend. Completely messed me up. This car should have been named Jezebel.

  • best of sound engine muscle car!!!!

  • Thank you for uploading!

  • Thank God they never remade this. I am sick and tired of remakes for the videogame generation who never watches anything made before 2000.

  • @McLarenMercedes

I totally agree with you. I've been playing video games since 1986 and I'm tired of these sequels, prequels and remakes of virtually everything.

  • @McLarenMercedes - They still can remake it, not that it needs to be remade. Just like John Carpenters other classic, The Thing. It's just fine as it is without the need of CGI.

  • @McLarenMercedes i also agree im glad they didnt remake it, but a sequel could have been nice

  • @McLarenMercedes i enjoy videogames, my fav movies came out in the early 90s though.

  • @McLarenMercedes By that logic, you should be hating the remakes of The Thing, & The Fly.

  • @McLarenMercedes

I watched this movie non stop when I was little (around 5?) when we had the VHS. It was amazing. I haven't seen it in forever, but I remember every single bit. I've been looking for a movie like it, but the closest I ever came to it was that one movie with the sentient trucks. Now that i've read your comment, i'm guessing there'll be one within the next 5 years, just like how they're making yet another remake of Carrie -.-

  • @McLarenMercedes couldnt agree more

  • @McLarenMercedes fully agreed

  • @McLarenMercedes A remake with a 83 dodge K-car would be cool....

  • @McLarenMercedes this video dont need a remake, if you look how the effects are of the car healing itself, thats effects like in 21 century movies :D

  • @McLarenMercedes Hear, hear, amen, and damn straight!

  • Keith Gordon is the double of The Damned's Dave Vanian.

  • and Autumn Red was an offered color. The interior matched as well. I have a friend in my area who used to own a 57 Plymouth Savoy in those exact colors. He drove it until he was in an accident with a cable truck. He used the money from the lawsuit to purchase a 58 Plymouth Fury to restore. The Savoy never saw the highway again, but he kept her nonetheless.

  • @drevildruid did he use the Savoy for parts to restore Christine?

  • @Genners111 No, he didn't have the heart to cut up his Savoy in favor of the other car.

  • In the book it's a 57 Belvedere. I know this because of two things. On the rear cover of the hardcover edition there is a photo of Stephen King sitting on top of one. Also when Arnie and Leigh pick up a hitchhiker on the way to the drive in, it mentions him opening one of Christine's back doors. Also SK made an error in the book saying Chrysler never offered the Plymouth in Autumn Red. A few years back at the Charlotte, NC Auto Fair, I perused an original dealer's manual for the 57 Plymouth

  • why did the guy honk the horn?

  • @TrackMaster555 he honked the horn to get help. or something

  • first can i say how does the car get red can someone tell me why

  • @TheNitrousoxide9 I forget, but a few of those Plymouth's were ordered as special packages that included a rare red paint coat (Belvedere?). Those beige ones were special too... I think. I dunno, somebody with better memory may correct me, but it's along those lines.

  • I love that loping idle Christine has in this movie!

  • i found a vhs tape of this movie at a yardsale but the tape didn't work :( glad i found it on here though :D thanks for uploading this

  • I love the assembly line opening of that movie, the 1957 Plymouth Fury is just the most awesome car ever made; I love Christine!!!!!

  • @soccercleatscrush its looks like they use 58 plymouths because the 57 actually has different lower grill and different headlights than the 57. i know they used 57s and 58s to make the movie but the car they replicate is a 58. i am sad to say i just recently realized that myself!

  • Am I the only one who thinks this movie is really funny?

  • @MorganGamerPoet It is actually funny. Well done though...

  • "Her name's Christine."

  • 3:04 So much for safety first!

  • dennis looks like a young leif garret.

  • fantastic film scared me as a kid and great music at the beginning

  • (OO==V==(OO)

  • You know, if this were real, I'm wondering if the car would have even been sent to a dealer. Hurt hand, yes, but I think it would be destroyed if someone died in it before leaving the factory.

  • I sure don't blame that one auto worker for wanting to sit behind the wheel of the red Plymouth Fury. And there are worse ways to go! ;-)

  • ratio or :o
