FGM is not cutting a piece of skin.

FGM cuts off a nerve ending, it cuts of the Labia Minora, and in extreme cases it the Labia Majora is sawn up, leaving a small hole for urine and mentral fluid.

This practice is done without anaesthetic and is a practice carried out between infancy and the age of 14yrs.

It violates Human Rights and Childrens Rights.

We could put an end to this painful and traumatic abuse!

We should put a stop to FGM, before more women suffer and die needlessly!
