  • shes so beautiful..poor girl:(

  • My old school that happened all the time to kids they have no riight

  • dude wtf... i mean an innocent girl gets blamed of giving another girls pills and they strip search her. and when they finished searching they found nothing and didnt even apoligize. they have no right to do that to a girl who ACTUALLY likes school

  • Does anybody know which Supreme Court case this is?

  • @writersblock26 Safford Unified School District v. Redding

  • @SMP0328 Thank you.

  • Thank you for posting this, acluvideos.

  • Her, and her mother, need to lose some weight.

  • So they had to debate wheather that was unconstitutional huh....Thats proof that those fasicsts are completely unfamilliar with the constitution...they are guilty of treason....it also sounds like the school security just wanted to be pedophiles...I mean, really...ibuprofen?????? fuck you washnington!!!!!! I do not recognise your athourity!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RWFINKHOUSE

& if you shot him dead & I was a juror @ your trial, you'd walk free.

  • @RWFINKHOUSE it was an outlandish thing to do and it didnt need to be done but it was legal. the girl consented. so she love 4th amendment privileges to just refrain from a search. she could of just said no and they wouldnt of searched her

  • the school was right.

  • ibuprofen...

  • That vp should be tried as a molester and put on a list and have a ban from all public schools. If someone had done this to me I would flip shit and leave( I'm 13)

  • @alexpet888 The school was actually right for doing this. legally she consented. that makes her lose her 4th amendment right. she could of said no and they couldnt of searched her.

  • @matt517472 she was a minor. She can't consent to have her 4th amendment rights taken away.

  • @tron81 she consented to the search. thats not consenting to take away her rights

  • @matt517472 no. I'm saying that because she was a minor she couldn't give consent to a strip search. Because she was a minor she didn't understand she could say no to a school strip search.

It's the same reason why a minor can't enter into a legally binding contract.

  • this would never happen in scotland. strip searching under age children. if there were any suspicions of concealment of drugs the police and the parents would be called. in britain a childs photograph cannot be taken by a stranger or an organisation unless written parental or guardian permission is given. the police in britain cant interview anyone under the age of 16 yrs old unless the parents or guardian are there, or a lawyer is there. these people should be prosecuted.

  • My kids school has violated rights continuously but NEVER is anything done. I have tried to get the media involved and still.....NOTHING....

A kid is suppose to have the right but when is that okay? The school calls it insubordination and feeds the parents full of crap.....

A pe teacher stuck her hands in my daughters pants pockets and still this is okay? What the hell is wrong with this generation???????

  • Without the determination of this victim, the school would have merrily continued to violate anyone they decided to treat with disrespect. The officials should be more than ashamed, they should beheld accountable and punished.

These cases almost always go no further than awards of monetary damages. There should be jail time not just fines that are written off by insurance companies. Let the perpetrators understand that they have done much more than make a mistake, they have committed a crime.

  • i like to know the moron who voted 21 that it did not violet her consutitial rights this prove students have a right in school sure it is limited but tehy do have a right.

  • Why not just bang the girls in exchange for the Ibuprofen? LOLOL.

  • It's a sad state our country is in when our own schools can legally strip search children! It's bad enough that the TSA can strip search an adult or child at random. Where have our rights gone? Will we ever get them back? Welcome to what was once a country where the Constitution protected you from government abuse such as warrant less searches. Slowly our constitutional rights are being taken away from us little by little until we have no rights left!

  • I can tell you right now, if they did that to one of my kids, the bullets would start flying!! No parent should ever tolerate this type of conduct.

  • too old.

  • is his ear burnt??

  • poor girl though, i feel sorry :/

  • I would've gone ape shit on them their not gonna violate me

I already got 3 teachers fired, I can sure as hell defend myself

  • DON"T GET SENT TO JAIL OR PRISON OR GO TO THE MILITARY BECAUSE THEY SEXUALLY ABUSE U THERE AND MAKE U GET NAKED INFRONT OF PEOPLE ALL THE TIME!!!! and make u take public but naked showers!! and they forcefully wash ur naked body!! some psych wards are still doing the same thing and gorup homes are to!!

  • This all happened before the TSA scanners were rolled out and we are virtually strip searched or groped. Disgusting!

  • stupid school systems those responsible for treating her like that need to never teach again

  • They strip searched her and she wasn't even trying to board an airplane?? Outrageous!

  • makes me sick

  • haha thats my sis

  • yeah, let the school officials rot in prison for a while. A good butt fucking might do them a bit of good.

  • @sethzky77 that will just make them worse

  • So glad I graduated.... If they had tried this on me, I'd tell them to go suck the fart of or Barack Obama's corn hole and walk on out of the school.

  • @RWFINKHOUSE, Thats the best comment I have ever read on youtube, I would have done the exact same as you said. a teacher cannot order anyone to strip, she was violated.

  • NOt only do they need a warrant...it MUST BE SPECIFIC AS TO WHAT THEY ARE SEARCHING FOR !!! This is no small part of it. They must have not only a reason but an objective stated BEFORE the search ....i.e. They must say what they are looking for.

  • Your hateful diatribe just shows you need anger management training. This girl only went down to her underwear, not even a true strip search. When i was her age we were forced to be naked. Obviously you didn't get my comment of "they're the school get over it" was sarcastic you idiot.

  • People griping about this, where the heck are you in real life? For years I have been saying how we are losing our freedom (in person to people), and most look at me like I'm crazy. Very few have the courage to dare comment on that (in real life). I was going to write more, but simply, ALL PEOPLE, in the US or where ever, need to stand up and be counted! Worse part is, this incident is tiny compared to sooo many other things that are wrong. (In no way do I mean to undermine this incident.)

  • This sound familiar?

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Know your rights! If you don't even know them, you have already given them up!

Sounds like and open and shut case.

  • As a minor, did the school officials get consent from this girl's parents? No. Did they go to a judge, describe exactly what they were looking for and where they expected to find it, and plead their case to the judge why they believed what they were looking for was located where they wanted to look for it? No. This was a criminal act, After being fired and forfeiting all rights to their pensions, they should be prosecuted.

  • WOW! does this girl have a cellphone? i would have called my mom once they asked me to remove my clothes. i would have turned around taken my phone out of my pocket, sneakly and calll my mama be like ummm mama i need you to come down here.kay

  • Whats the big deal? When i was 13 we were forced to take showers at the end of pe class and then about once a month we all had to stand naked for inspection by the pe teachers who did so to check for bruises indicationg abuse or anything else as well as proper hygiene by inspecting our pubic hair for lice etc. Though i can see being targeted for a strip search because some one accuses you of something. But hey they're the school, get over it.

  • @snarbush no wat they did to u wasnt right they have no right 2 do tht k they had no evidence tht she had pills

  • They'll strip search a kid over an over the counter pill, but if a bully attacks a kid at school they don't even call to tell you or do anything about the bad kid. Poor bullying abusive child, we don't want him/her to feel out of place, but it's okay to let them torment other children. I honestly heard a teacher tell a woman who said a child bullies her kid "shh we don't want to make *bully* feel uncomfortable or ackward!"

  • Even if they did find contraband its still wrong.

  • Wow.....ibuprofen. That makes sense o_0

  • I had my backpack searched once. Someone on my bus said, "Can I have some gum?" And the sub bus driver claimed he said, "I have a gun." So everyone had to have their bag searched before they could leave. My backpack had a lot of pockets, none of which were looked though. It was pointless and made me feel LESS safe about school security than I had felt before.

  • this is why i will never let the school search anything of mine other than my locker without a warrant because they will go far over the line.

  • this story is sad and i feel bad for the girl. i just couldn't stop staring at that guys warts on his face tho.....

  • where's the justice served? what happened to the teachers, principals and school board from this?

  • @um7kay Get a life looser!

  • Wow thats bull shit, Like everyone else is saying every1 who was involved in doing that needs to go to jail, there was no proof that she even had anything thats just pathetic.

  • If she was my daughter I'd get the teacher to strip infront of all the students and shit, I would even tell him to take his pants off too or id beat the shit outa him.

and my excuse would be that he had pills too.

  • I don't understand in the UK (my school anyway) it's normal for girls to walk around with painkillers in their bags. ibuprofen I take when the doctor tells me, what does the school matter unless your like 6 years old

  • i wouldnt care if i got strip searched i dont have anything to hide and it dosnt make kids get dramatized they dont tell you to remove any clothing unless they find something on the meter

  • IBUPROFEN?? lS THIS JUST AN EXCUSE TO BE A FUCKING PEDO?

  • I completely agree with that lawyer dude when he said the school had no good reason whatsoever to strip search her. They really didn't. She is not hot or anything, so I don't know what possible motivation they would have to do this.

  • What happened to her was fucked up, but I honestly doubt that "I love school" claim. When everyone someone is violated in a horrible way, they usually try to gain even more sympathy by putting on an "angelic" image. Say cliche crap like "I volunteer at the homeless shelter and love working with the elderly".

  • Ibuprofen is not a controlled substance. It is less harmful to teenagers than asprin.

    Strip search for an anti-inflamitory?

    That is disturbing.

  • @midnightbirdgirl that is beyond conservative-insane

  • @midnightbirdgirl

I remember years ago I could bring aspirin to school and even give one to another student, and nobody made a big deal about it. But it looks like school administrators don't differentiate between substances anymore and treat them all as equally dangerous, and even the school nurses aren't allowed to dispense common over-the-counter medicine. In their minds, a drug is a drug even if it's not intoxicating.

  • What a crock of Courts and schools; students are people too with inalienable rights.

When is the U.S. Suprreme Court going to wake up. And who is the female Justice Ginsberg> What a disgrace for the female race. She must Be from ANOTHER Country! What a horrible person. She can not stand up for her own sex!

  • If a anyone tried to search me I would drop them like a bitch.

  • no154 -- i assume you are joking ... "addicted" to Ibuprofen? Know any aspirin addicts giving bums handjobs? Ibuprofen is not illegal ... even if you can't get "prescription strength" you just take more regular strength.

This girl didn't even have any ibuprofen, some a-hole classmate made an unfounded accusation. The search of the backpack should have been enough. No one hides ibuprofen in her bra...the red coating would melt and f- up the bra.

  • what a pussy ass bitch

  • Dude...she was a kid, and they never even called her mom about it, till after they did it...and over what? An over the counter pain killer...

What's the next step after that... full body cavity searches...I mean if you can strip search for ibuprofen then why not go up the kids ass for something which is actualy illegal... where do you imagine the boundries?

  • they belived it was perscription strenghth, but still the government has no right to search you unless you either A. consent to a search or B. they have a warrant.

  • You can buy prescription strength over the counter. Or you can take to lower strength ones. They have nothing but ibuprofen in them. Sure it used to be a long time ago that you couldn't get them over the counter...and had to take two or even (gasp) three pills.

What's more they strip searched a minor without her parents being present...even the cops can't do that.

  • @beefygoblin

...man I need a job at that school

  • There were at least 14 kids in my school district who had been expelled due to zero tolerance bullshit like this. Some of the mismanagement went almost as far as this. If it happened so many times in my district, I can't imagine the kind of atmosphere that happens all over... If children are being brought up in this sort of environment, who's to say they aren't going to perpetuate it when they've become functioning members of society, having been taught that it's normal?

  • redding alreay made this point clear. Why do police (much less a school official) need a warant to search your house, but the can search your body through strip searches, "pat downs" and even urine tests, without a court ordered warrent?

  • u must let the ....sorry for the type'o

  • To those again who thinks she deserved it. I wish I knew who you are cause I would ring the police and inform them that you are a terrorist, or drug dealer. With no evidence you would be arrested and have your door busted down and be draged out on your ass and jailed for the day in front of your family and friends and shamed, while the whole time you are protesting that your rights have been violated. Get the picture. Stand in her shoes and I bet you cry out thats it's an injustice.

  • @Yiatiican

LOLOLOLOL So you would not only BREAK THE LAW but commit a SIN to make a point. Wow. I sure hope you don't drink the kool-aid

  • To all those people who commented that she deserved to be searched, must be on some serious drugs themselves, cause you could not possibly think this is right.

Facts: The girl who dobbed in Savana was introuble herself and then shifted the blame. Her parents where NOT told to come to the school to sort this out. She was found not to have anything on her because it was a LIE. She is 13 and an Honour student which means she is a respected student by here teachers and others. NO RIGHTS USA.

  • who ever commented she deserved it has got to be a brainwashed police or military individual.

  • Why don't they say who the school district or vice principal is? I want to post their phone number on 4chan.

  • i would have said hell no stupid school nurse they have no right to do that wow the school district is dumb

  • The school administration was completely in the right here, obviously routinely strip-searching students over unsubstantiated accusations is more reasonable than to risk letting kids take Ibuprofin. Advil, Tylenol, and Aspirin are all hard drugs that are destroying America, far more dangerous than crack, heroin, and meth, and we need to do all we can to keep our children safe.

  • You said it! We sure as hell can't have these reckless kids walking around school all hopped up on these non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs!

  • that gos against our constitutional rights,

  • Let me guess number154...When u move, u must let tne Police know were you live!!

  • If it would help keep our children safe from becoming addicted to Ibuprofin, yes. No price is too great to pay to keep our children off the streets, giving handjobs to bums and off-duty sailors so that they can score some Advil.

  • Retard, you might as well shelter them in a bubble then. The 1 in 100 possibility of saving a life is not worth the violation of the constitution. This is illegal and wrong and the school should be punished for this.

  • How can you not take this seriously? Our children are under attack by the far-left, anti-Christian oligarchy controlling the Supreme Court and you want to debate legal theory instead of trying to keep them safe? You must be one of those if-it-feels-good-do-it liberals that always complain about their "rights" when someone tries to keep them from spreading their immorality to our children. I'll bet you're high from shooting up Ibuprofin right now.

  • 1. I'm a moderate independent. Your two parties do nothing but call each other names when we need something done. (Oh, and you're doing it too)

    2. Because almost nobody gets high on ibuprofen

    3. Our children are under attack...lol

Cut your panicked shit. The Supreme Court isn't attacking your children, and they are not anti-christian

  • 4. No, I'm drug free

    5. Stop shoving your beliefs down others throats. "Spreading immorality to our children?" I'm not in any way in contact with your children. What I do doesn't affect them.

  • 6. I did not advocate doing drugs. I advocated following the constitution, and not searching one without a warrant (especially strip searching). There wasn't even probable cause for suspicion

  • Oh yeah? Well show me where, in the Constitution, it says that children have a right to get high by smoking Ibuprofin. There is no amendment that says that, case closed. What you do does affect my children, because if they're at scholl and see you doing the drugs that you obviously do, they'll ask me questions they're not ready to hear the answers to, like why do some people hate themselves so much that they're willing to poison their own bodies.

  • @ number154

    1. It doesn't say in the constitution that they have the right to get high by taking ibuprofen, and I never claimed it did.

1.5 What is unconstitutional is searching without a warrant, directly stated in Article 4 of the Bill of Rights amended into the constitution. There was clearly no reason to think she was taking ibuprofen, just a girl trying to get her in trouble.

    2. Smoking ibuprofen?

    3. Again, since I need to repeat it over and over, I have never done drugs.

  • 4. The world isn't perfect. They're going to see things anyways, no matter how hard you shelter them. Be prepared for it instead of trying to prevent the inevitable

    5. The girl in this video was found to be innocent.

  • 6. You still haven't made a rebuttal to any of my points, just repeated your statements that are false.

Try reading the constitution before arguing about it.

  • Well of course they found her innocent, that's because they said she had a constitutional right to get high... your logic is entirely circluar, but maybe you're too high from snorting Ibuprofin to get that. If doing drugs isn't a warrant to search someone, I don't know what is. Just because you and the Supreme Court think drug dealers should be protected doesn't make it right. It's the school's job to keep children safe at school, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want.

  • LMFAO - EPIC FAIL!

    1. For the third time, retard, I don't do drugs.

    2. My logic isn't circular at all, you're the one repeating your original point which I made 6 rebuttals to already

    3. No, she did get searched illegaly actually, and STILL WAS NOT found guilty by the school

    4. Yeah, if the Supreme Court rules it right, it basically is accepted as the interpretation of the laws and constitution. Again. stop arguing about things if you know nothing about them.

  • 5. The school should keep kids safe, but there's a balance between security and liberties/privacy, which this country runs on, and the constitution itself says that that goes over the top.

    6. Read the Bill of Rights. Article 4. Then come back and respond

  • Whatever, I have better things to do with my time than argue with an admitted Ibuprofin addict on YouTube.

  • Good job making an excuse when you don't have any responses. Thanks, because that proves that I won the debate.

Oh, and by the way, I told you 4 times that I'm drug free. But, I guess you're retarded and can't understand a basic sentence and can't have a discussion without flaming, idiot

I do not support ibuprofen use. I support the Constitution. The girl DID NOT take ibuprofen. They illegally searched her and STILL found her innocent.

    Goddamn Fucking retards on youtube...

  • since when can u smoke ibuprofen?

  • you left out number 7......

  • @number154 what if the person tht strip searched kids was a pedo? and he/she molested them or raped them or took pics? tht could have been easily avoided thts y we cant have strip searches in our schools

  • OMG PANCAKES

  • This is really stupid. If you are on the side of the school officals you need to burn in hell. She was only 13 and had no idea what they could do if she refused the search. She was probably so scared that she couldn't even talk.....I'm glad she won....those school officals need to be fired, shot, and burned. Period.

  • @shadowofgrace1

what happened to this girls rights!

  • @shadowofgrace1 and on top of that, they were searching her for ADVIL!!! its not like someone accused her of hiding heroin. aand she didn't even have the ipubopren pills in the first place!

  • The teachers responsible for this should go to prison.

  • Comment removed

  • She's a brave girl, many would stay silent...

  • Omfg, Its not so fucking easy with self defence,, She was 13, should her beat a 30-40 year old man, your guys is around 18-20 ,, That easy for you guys,,

  • Congratulations on winning the case!!! lone dissenter Clarence Thomas bits.

  • in thomas' disent he wrote that it's ok to strip search as long as it is photographed and sent to the supreme court for "review"

  • Savana Redding is a hero.....students at any age ought not fear going to an dbeing in school. Shame on those educators.

Celebrate Ms. Reeding's win in court.

  • All this in search of ibuprofen. wtf. I hope she gets millions and everyone involved loses their jobs.

  • this girl has to learn to stand up for herself I would have told the principle to fuck himself

  • You're a dick, what was she supposed to do?

I'm sure there is a way we can blame her though stupid bitch, if she doesn't want people stripping her and raping her why does she have a vagina?

    That was sarcasm people.

  • He followed me to the lunchroom and in front of maybe 500 kids bent me over the line rail while choking me. I had no choice, so I kicked him in the nuts and knocked him on hiss ass. I then walked into the deans office and explained what happened. With a lawyer and a doctor's examination, I got out of it as they tried to send me to reform school. The good ol days when you could protect your self have slipped by. Even then I needed legal and medical help / or a year in a reform school.

  • When I was 14 I went to the boys room to wash glue off my hands from splicing film, as I was a member of the audio visual crew. In our school, the lavs were off limits during lunch because of drugs. A teacher followed me and asked why I was there. I explained to him why and I gave him the teacher in charges name. Since I did not have a note, I was handed a pink slip to stay after school. I had been nice up to this point. I crumpled the slip up and threw it at him and walked out part 1 of more

  • Not only is there a fundamental issue of permission, the school definitely should have contacted the parents first. If you're worried that something will be disposed of, have the child wait under observation while contacting the parents.

  • uncalled for!

  • You have the choice of a physical. Loser.

  • Moron .

  • "he didnt have any on him and you dont see him crying on tv like this fat slut."

So he did nothing about it? He didn't even complain?

Your friend sounds like an obedient little fellla. A very GOOD boy, ;-)

  • Well, that was his fault. Remember, kid--this country was founded so people could live free of this sort of shit.

  • You're a cock. Rights are rights, this girl is a hero.

  • TELL ALL THE KIDS THAT THEY CAN SAY "NO"!!! And call the parents. This is sickening.

  • i would get a case befor they searched me like that or they would have to fight me til ko or till my bones break befor that happens

  • if they tried that shit on me id brake those fuckers bones

  • You would have a right to break his bones. Self Defense.

  • Every time I hear about these types of cases with schools or criminals or parents abusing young children, it just pisses me off. I truly hope that whoever violated Savana's personal being gets the fitting consequences. It's about time that schools begin taking responsibility when these incidents happen and less time on making supposed "valid" excuses.

  • I would have NEVER taken my close off. EVER EVER EVER. I wouldnt have talked to them until my parents came. I would have called a lawyer. This is B.S. and wrong!!!!! it pisses me off.

  • So wrong, very very wrong. poor girl.

  • he say

  • You don't give rights to the school, they take them unless you object. Lack of objection over time institutionalises actions and those rights are then presumed to have never existed. Now getting those rights back requires a greater level of insistence than had they been checked earlier. Now we find ourselves having to progress to the supreme court to reclaim what we once had.

The lesson, don't give up any of your rights ever, even when you are not harmed by their "temporary" surrender.

  • this is another example of what happens when you give mentally unsound people total authority. it's bad enough that store security rent-a-cops have done this to adult women, now we have this same abuse of power in schools? i certainly hope that the school is successfully sued and everyone involved with this is not only fired, but prevented from working around children ever again. the people who did this should have to register as child sex offenders. anyone else who did this would have to!

  • These evil people cause trauma on purpose to break the spirit of the children.

that is what child abusers do to children and WE ARREST THEM.

  • Good luck to you dear Savanah. ACLU is on the case. Thank your lucky stars ... that ACLU is helping you. I trust the ACLU. I will contribute to ACLU on your behalf.

  • Because that many people do not think that children are people. They think they are children, not people. Children are abused like this every day. Its disgusting.

  • Damn...poor girl... you have my deepest sympathies.

    Signed,

    iXenomorph

  • holy crap! i just cant believe this...

  • Private schools are worse. You basically sign all your rights away when you enter.

  • true but you pay them to

  • That's true. When I was in a Catholic High School we had to sign a contract waving away our rights to refuse a search of backpack, locker, car, etc.

  • OK, so let me understand this. People ogling naked kids over the internet = *holy god we need to shut down the internet now, think of the children*.

G-man pervs strip searching a crying teenager in search of Advil = nothing to see here, move along citizen.

Seriously, can we get rid of this "government" now. They steal our money and say it's for protecting us from thieves. They make enemies for us in the name of "defense". Now they're strip searching our kids, not to mention the TSA pervs.

  • School officials, Fast-Food Managers, Bad Police Officers, are all doing strip searches these days. It's like they feel that that Constitution is a guideline, not the LAW. It is the Law, and I hope her school officials get fired, lose their fancy pensions, and that the school district will have to cut sports for 10 years to cover the cost of her lawsuit in order to deter this from ever happening again!!!

  • Ohh... Man... Thats just... Ugh.

Savannah, I hope your case pulls through!

  • Such a search is in obvious and direct violation of human rights, and it's shameful that school staff would act in such a manner. I hope the Court case goes strongly in her favor, and therefore in favor of human rights.

  • any judge that doesn't rule in favor of them is fucked up
