I dont know if anyone has commented on your poast machichi69... but meth is great for POWER, but in terms in life of the motor... if the meth fails, and your running hot, like 29+ psi, you will blow you motor before the fail safes can even kick in, to kill it.

so if you spent 14k on a new cosworth, and your running a super nice aqua mist, even those fail safes will not save it... so you would have to weigh the cost of a new motor for the worth of gaining an additional 40+hp?? potentially...

18 is max that most people reccomend on stock top mount...

not to mention the top mount is a little bit of a bottleneck, although you can run higher psi with a big FMIC you'll gain some lag..

judging by the choice of header, he is more worried about spool than peak numbers. So he also stayed with a top mount intercooler, why the stock one? Who knows. Just keep in mind that some people are more worried about reliable power or drivability as compared to building a full blown race car that only makes power in its above 5000 rpms.

Nice!! i got my car tuned by Jon too.. 385whp on 20psi 91oct, 465whp on 25psi 110oct, and 500whp 28psi 117oct.. Stock block and all.. My buddy put down 485whp on same dyno and trapped 127 in the quarter with same setup as me (rotated perrin 30R) Very nice setup tho, wish i had meth injection!
