its actually 18 nps. sextuplets are pretty easy to devide. 100 bpm is 10nps, 120 bpm is 12, 150bpm is 15, and so on.

I have been playing for 12 years now and I don't think that I will ever be able to play anywhere close to your level (not that many people ever come close). I´m asking ´cause i can play sextuplets at 100 bpm playing outside picking now inside picking is harder for me , so should i learn both or should i keep playing outside picking ´cause it´s working for me ?

in order to play faster I just practiced the same licks day after day after day, till my fingers started hurting like hell. I used a few Jimmy Page licks, like those on the Heartbreaker solo, and I also practiced Highway Star solo a lot, and now I can play them at 80% normal speed, 5 months after picking up the guitar (not bragging) !

increase the metronome every 5 bpm

don't increase the metronome if you are 100% clean and precise

that scale is the same that E frigian but with out playing the E string, isn´t it??

this is A aeolian...and has the same notes as E Phrygian (relative modes)

but is is over a "A minor" chord...so it "A Aeolian"

When you practice at slower speeds, do yo also focus on economy of motion on the picking hand or instead do yo focus on moving the wrist at a more natural swing path. For example, if I practice at 80bpm, should I move my wrist the same distance as if I was playing at 120bpm (but of course hitting the note at the right time).

I also have the same question for the fretting hand.

Great video!! Can you confirm the following when you play fast:

- does only the very tip of the pick (1mm) touch the strings when picking.

- is the angle of attack (pick contacts each string) at a about a 45 degree angle.

- do you feel the pick moving back and forth between your thumb and index finger or do you grip the pick very solid and you don't feel much movement at all.

- what grip pressure do you have on your pick (just enough to pick the string, or more than that?)
