I served with the Royal marines in Iraq and afghan and that is not how to clear a house. If the guy was identified as armed when on the roof they should have dropped a flashbang in and eliminated the threat. I saw this a lot with the U.S they will destroy a whole street for 1 guy, you don't win hearts and minds doing that. There are a lot of really good American soldiers but the guys in this video really look like they're straight out of basic training not a clue.
@bobbys66 this was the battle of fallujah in 2004 and many of these houses were completely rigged with explosives or the insurgents would build bunkers in the houses. one of the marines even says, "they've got a fortified bunker in there." this platoon already had a number of soldiers killed in house fights like this so why risk more dying? one of the Marines in this video was killed several days later in a similar situation. RIP Bradley Faircloth.
and BTW every body could do the same thing as this soldiers, they just went into house met some resistance, shit their pants, went outside and ruined the building with heavy weapon... brave ? baaahhh

Talk to a recruiter for the army the score its takes to on the asvab are much lower for the army than marines. Just becauae they might be a grubt, they have to know a shit ton more tham just shooting. They need to know basic medicine, how to operate/ repair a field radio, how to fix/ maintain an m1151a1 hmmwv and a myrid of other things.
