  • I'm making a collection of 2010 Olympic videos to go with my 4 videos. Know of any?

  • I can't say that I do, sorry!

  • Welcome back!

Quite a day for hockey fans. Didn't get to watch the U.S., but I was rooting hard for Switzerland to pull off the upset. (I love Canada in general, but I gotta go with the underdog...which is probably the main reason why I'll vote for the U.S. as well: perpetual underdogs.) Hiller and the Swiss were impressive--the Canadians less so.

It never fails. From curling to hockey to everything else, I always become addicted to the Olympics.

    I can't wait for Sunday!

  • Oh I was so rooting for Switzerland. They deserved that win, in my opinion. Hiller was just... nuts.

I've been watching curling as much as I can! The strategy behind it makes it so fun to watch and analyze. (And at the risk of sounding like a total girl) the mascots are super cute this year.

  • Phew. Finally got to see the U.S. men's curling team win. Thought I was cursing 'em! I agree about the strategy. They have to think some moves ahead (like Chess and any number of other games), and mix in some golfing and billiards skills. Good luck explaining to people why they should watch it, tho ;)

Miga's adorable, if those are the ones you mean. Quatchi looks like Ken Hitchcock's ideal hockey player.

The figure skating commentators (on NBC) are once again annoying me. Never fails!

  • Curling looks like shuffleboard on ice. Crazy things.

Quatchi's my favorite!! I've got plushies on the brain, don't mind me. :D

    Scott Hamilton annoys you!?

  • Do a quick Google for Quatchi slippers, and wear them for a night on the town ;) (Would have linked, but it seems to not want me to.)

The whole crew tends to annoy me, much like the gymnastics commentators at the Summer Olympics. They're usually too quick to point out how an athlete isn't perfect, too biased, and generally too condescending.

I've enjoyed the crews for events like ski jumping and snow boarding. You can tell they're having fun!

  • Those are the cutest slippers I've ever seen. I had a bit of a squee moment.

They are a bit condescending, good point! I never really thought of it until now...

  • Just a bit of one, eh? Shouldn't hold back like that!

Oh, and...yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Don't think I need to explain what that's for!
