I find it sad when there are those who judge "cutters". It's very hard to understand unless you know first hand how it is. Cutting has so many reasons, really, it's almost as unique as the person themselves. Judging solves nothing. In my opinion, cuts are just proof of another night you made it through. I have paranoid scizophrenia and I cut. I've cut sine I was 10 and I'm now almost 20. I cut to release pain, anger, my depression, everything. Sometimes life gets too overwhelming to deal with it, and not every one's brain is wired to "enjoy" and need cutting, but for those that need to cut, don't judge, don't think that we're freaks. It really is hard, when you go through so much pain that. You deny yourself to feel, you shove all emotions down. Even happy ones, because you just don't want to feel anymore. And then once you feel alone and lost in your emotionless self, you feel as though you can't gain feeling even if you try with all your might. So you turn to wanting to feel pain, you want something to be wrong. Because its something to hold onto, if nothing is wrong and everything is ok. Then what?

Cutting is a form of release to some people; The same as running is for others, etc. It's not right, in any sense nor is it good for you; But sometimes nothing else will work. And people who cut aren't necessarily suicidal, it's just a form of release and what not. I find it sad when there are those who judge "cutters". It's very hard to understand unless you know first hand how it is. Cutting has so many reasons, really, it's almost as unique as the person themselves. Judging solves nothing. In my opinion, cuts are just proof of another night you made it through. It's bad all around. No one can be perfect. Most times, it's out of this state of feeling 'imperfect' that a cutter is born. Don't judge. Just love. <3

I have paranoid scizophrenia and I cut. I've cut sine I was 10 and I'm now almost 20. I cut to release pain, anger, my depression, everything. Sometimes life gets too overwhelming to deal with it, and not every one's brain is wired to "enjoy" and need cutting, but for those that need to cut, don't judge, don't think that we're freaks. We're just trying to survive, most of us don't want to die. For the other cutter, I love you, be safe and take care of yourself. <3.

Cutting is a form of release to some people; The same as running is for others, etc. It's not right, in any sense nor is it good for you; But sometimes nothing else will work. And people who cut aren't necessarily suicidal, it's just a form of release and what not.
