  • it's not surprising that they have the Filipino accent and the hardness in the tones.. Malaysian, Indonesian and Filipino languages are quite related to each other..Itsura plang nating lahat eh..   • Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Tagalog, and other Filipino dialects have same language origin-if I'm not mistaken it's "Malayo-Polynesian or Austronesian"

I hope you cover more Filipino songs, and win with them :) You guys also inspired me to do my own translation of the song, for the benefit of Indonesian viewers.

  • Filipinos have Indonesian ancestry...our Tagalog language has 'sprinkles' of bahasa words. So, we're all intertwined culturaly and emotionally. :)

  • @fukulotz I'm filipino, but I gone out on a date with malay and have a crush with indo. What I've notice that our languages are pretty close, it just the accent is different like aku=ako=you cinta=cinta=love mahal=mahal (or love)=expensive LOL

We always think, in singing "it's not always to impress, but also to express". And this one is a very beautiful song, and in order to deliver it well, we need to relate to the song, every single one of us. Thank you all for loving the piece as much as we do :)
