Sonic, as I have responded previously to your other comments, Michael Jackson - in his ENTIRE lifetime, and throughout his whole career - has NEVER, EVER had anything done artificially to his vocal cords, or any other body parts, to get the high range of his voice. It was NATURAL, and he went through training, with a lot of "warming up," as you hear in the Video (this one, as well as others). Do NOT believe what you read, or hear about him, in the media.

As an adult, Michael was EXCEPTIONAL at using the higher, upper range of his voice, which he used the majority of the time. He very rarely used his lower range, when singing - though (as this, and OTHER "warm-up" Videos obviously prove) he certainly DID have one. Those rumors are FALSE.

I didn't know that people even went through such medical procedures, to keep their voices from changing. However, Michael NEVER had - EVER.

@tissetatten ..Teaching is a known vocal doomday profession..because instead of resting when the voice is tired..You wake up and teach..because your student or students need you and the mortgage depends on your showing up..Seth sounds like most"Succesful"Voice teachers who are busy paying the bills..or just too selfless to just say No! So you sing 200 high c's as a demo and talk way too much and don't get enough rest..all the things a teacher implores the student to not do..;(

@kashiaroundtheworld Yeah...and actually for YEARS Michael didn't have a coach at all and he didn't want one because he was "born with this voice and didn't want to mess with it", but his mom convinced him he should get one because she wanted him to learn how to conserve it and not hurt it. Enter: Seth Riggs. Doesn't surprise me at all that he didn't have to do much...actually Seth probably learned a thing or two (or several) from MJ. :-)
