My advice, enjoy what you have while gathering the money for the game. Not thinking about it too much makes the wait less painful. I speak from experience. I practically chewed my own head off while waiting for New Super Mario Bros Wii. And when I finally got over that hill, Donkey Kong Country Returns came out...-_-...I still don't have it.

Think about it this way. Rayman may have disappeared for a while, but his games never sucked. Sonic has had it rough. Rayman Origins (as far as the demo goes) is a fantastic, polished game. So is Sonic Gen. Difference is, Sonic has to go much much much farther to regain his icon status. This, to me, is why Gen is a bigger deal than Origins: Origins is a fantastic game for a great character, Generations is the saving grace for an video gaming icon that brought him back from death. Any questions?

Sonic 4 was just okay, and Sonic Colors was just Modern Sonic finally getting good, but Sonic Generations actually brought back the REAL Classic Sonic, even if only temporarily, as well as nailing Modern Sonic perfectly. How is that not a comeback? He just happens to be making his comeback on his anniversary.
