usually neons take a crap around 100,000 miles where the time belt, struts and brakes go to shit, damn never seen of heard of a 200,000 mile neon b4 and one that can do that. cool

Thats because people tend not to take care of them lol. My DD Neon is at 269,6xx miles on the original engine and transmission, and only the 2nd clutch.

@budlightzero20001 That's because the timing belt is a maintenance item, and should be replaced around 90k, but people like you ignore that and let it wear out and break and then blame dodge. Do you not change your oil either? And as to your other comment, 100k on a set of brakes is damn good.....

@budlightzero20001 You're supposed to change the Timing belt and pump at 100k, and you should be on your second pair of shocks (and worn our a set of breaks) at that point in any car if you care about your life. They are from the 90's not neverland.

when i had my neon and i did burnouts, i would always have a quart of really cheap oil in the trunk to put a little under the driver side tire. it worked wonders, especially on freshly sealed blacktop
