Oh man oh man, what memories. I used to watch this every Saturday morning in England on a show called 'Fun Factory'. Even back then as a kid, I acknowledged the fact that I was being treated to a historic show. They don't make anything even close to this anymore. I remember i used to love all the different backround music that went with the different scenes. Anyone remember Spike and Sparkplug witwicki? LOL. Still can't believe they replaced this show with shitty ass G.I Joe to this day

@TheAnimeCrush I am not so much of a fanboy that I can't point out the lack of logic in this show. The show's producers were probably worried that the characters would not be recognizable to 6 year olds if they looked different on Cybertron, so they kept the robot forms looking the same as they do on Earth.

Remeber, this show is just a half hour toy commercial.

1984-1987 Transformers G1 is the best cartoon series for kids and the toys are awesome too and very worth collecting. I would have rather seen 'Soundwave' as a boombox in the Transformers 2 movie.

And it's especially strange since they have tires in their robot modes here despite the fact that they are all hovercraft vehicles. Granted, this is all due to production costs. It would've required a lot more time to design and animate different robot modes for all the characters for just a single episode.
