I was given to understand that the camera first has to process the raw image the photo sensor receives, with any given settings, before it is saved to the card, it doesn't just have pixels instantly...or so I thought.

Computer is a Mac laptop. Video shows/discusses faster download speeds using USB 3.0 Card Reader. HOWEVER, Macs don't support USB 3.0. Definite flaw in production of video.
