Grand Chenier after Hurricane Rita

It is a little hard to remember since Maw Maw and Paw Paw (Fred and Shirley Dunam) moved out of their old house in late 80's but the house on 2:08 looks it. I already knew their double wide they resided in was gone- David or Daniel told me.

Starting at :17 is my paran Richards house, My grandfathers barn, when all you see is chimneys and concrete, that was the Acadian Ambulance duck camp we owned, and then they show my dad and uncle david's place letter. I never saw this before.  Nothing there now really except for what we re built.

Thank you for posting this, I was just in Grand Chenier visiting my brother and his girlffriend this summer. I met the most wonderful people people I have ever met. And I love 'em all!!! But finally something about Rita and Grand Chenier!!! The one highway on here goes right past my brothers house!! Again Love ya all down there!!
