hey boo the truth is i back comb the hair then dip it in hot water turn around and started twisting it them threw a wet face wash rag over it and use a flat iron to steam seal it! then the lighter was for any hairs sticking out and what not! but ill make one soon!

@MagicalProductionss omg i dont even remember what i use at the time but off had i play by ear i just got to the fabric store and look at different fabric ribbon and pull it and what not to see what holds the best!

@MagicalProductionss my personal option is based on my experience with natural hair in the African American community. We seal them with the flatiron by steaming with the rag after dipping then flying over them with a lighter to seal them a 2nd time around! It may seem like a lot of work but that what works for me tho.

@ThePurpleVortex it depends on you! i usually do mines for real sale and i do abot 12inches so it gives enough room to make tight or to support two ponyfalls on top of each others!

Look on ebay, or google it, there's many girls who make beautiful dreads, France, England, Canada, Germany, U.S.A... But you can make your dreads but practice, practice, practice. Don't hesitate I learned by myself.

no i didnt back comb them cuz then thy look a hot mess. i was going for the more clear look so that they have a natural shine to them. if you try doing them with out back combin them you'll get the same effect as i did!

well after i dip them and instead of using a steamer i use the flatiorn to go up and down on them to give them that shinny look. i rap a damp towel around them and then use the flat iron to seal them. once seal i use the lighter yo hit all the fuzziez and then use the flatiron a few more times going up and down to give it that shinny loo. ill post another viedo real real soon
