No the head went down first and then the Titanic split just after the 3rd funnel and the front of the ship (the bit BEFORE the ship split) was still attached at the bottom just a little bit and the stern was pulled down by the bow. So the right part of the ship went down first.

@Twilightrox360 No, this would be correct. First it is go down at the Bow because there's the hole, but then the Stern break down and would have to bounce back and sink alone.

I think you see it in the movie (If you survive the soap opera) ;P

also i found out that if you put an iceberg just to the right of titanic so it scuffs along the side it actually sinks with it's bow practically verticle like it did in 1912 hope this helps
