My eyes got drowned in tears. It was very beautiful, and we all should and must appreciate our parents. Escpecially in the end of the video, when his mother said so many good words about him, that was beautiful. Allah (Most Gracious, Most Merciful) has clearly showed us to be kind to our parents, and it's our duty as His servants to fulfill that duty.

i think a child's rationality should be encouraged by any parent by allowing their children to debate with them freely. only if the parent can defend and explain her/his instructions is she/he truly qualified to be a parent. in my experience, children sometimes think more clearly than their parents because they haven't been exposed to the same prejudices. i think instilling fear of questioning one's parents discourages children from thinking for themselves at an early age.
