As a german movie-fan I knew Leslie only as an great actor.But by my chinese friends I "met" him as a wonderfull singer also. The day he died was really very very sad. But at last I'm so happy that I knew this "man not of this world". And mixes like this make him unforgetable! Thank you :-)

In my opinion, he was the best actor in the world - hands down. I'm glad, as an American, I had the priviledge of seeing a few of his films (and then a lot more as the years went on and I had access to more foreign film.) I had the unfortunate experience of being shocked on the internet that he'd committed suicide exactly a year after it happened. His films will keep his memory to be passed on. God Bless you Leslie! The first clip is from Wong Kar Wai's Days of Being Wild (Ah Fei Ching Chuen). Leslie won the Best Actor award at HK Film Awards in 1990 for this movie. It's a great movie; you should check it out. I consider it as one of Leslie's strongest performances, definitely one of his best movies.
