Fred Frith is especially important because he is not only one of the most amazing guitarist/ multi-instrumentalists of all time, he is still out there, composing, performing and collaborating with all kinds of people. "Step Across the Border" is a fascinating documentary about his music.

I did far more drugs listening to this album than Pink Floyd or Zeppelin. Back then. This version is ...refreshing...and does 'transport me' to a weird but innocent time. A nod to those who did not survive.

This very unique footage was recorded live for the BBC @ 30-11-73 and connects various elements and musicians (Canterbury scene, beginnings of the Virgin Record label).

The saving grace is the sheer musical genius of those guys playing (yes i said GENIUS!!)... make sense now why people would thumbs-down this (the "blah" visuals)?
Right, but Mike Oldfield's music is pretty esoteric, while The Exorcist is one of the most famous movies ever. Regardless, you have to admit this makes a pretty bitchin' soundtrack.
There 'must be some drums in the song for it to sound live as good as it was on the album. No other option (it's getting boring without 'em, you know...)

Right, but Mike Oldfield's music is pretty esoteric, while The Exorcist is one of the most famous movies ever. Regardless, you have to admit this makes a pretty bitchin' soundtrack.
