  • Hi i loved your video, as I just did a weekend of medicinal Qui Gong at Lendrick lodge in scotland, and want to learn more.Your wee dog is so sweet i just loved seing him too. Ive a wee dog also. Margaret.

  • The dog is funny jumping on his leg

  • I hope the students don't mind the dog.

All the jumps between movements in the vid make it useless to me. What is the goal of this one?

  • that dog is rather fascinated by it

  • thanks so much for sharing this.. i read about the swimming dragon but didnt know how to do it.. i tried after seeing this and couldnt believe how much energy i had. i ended up doing a paper for 5.5 hrs straight w/o losing focus or getting tired. where do you teach?

  • mafrek, sorry for late reply, I didnt see your reply until now... I am happy you have learned some idea. That is why I put vids on the web. I teach in Europe, Belgium. Have time stop by...

  • qigong

  • Thanks Mike, great work :-)

  • Nice video. Looking forward to more. Hope you didn't kill the dog. PS What breed is he?

  • Why not make a video explaining the most important thing in qigong exercises which is the breathing, coordinated with mind exercises to bring in clear blockages or store or circulate the chi combined with perineum control also!

  • Thanks for the comment. I am working on such a vid, but meantime please look to a bagua vid I posted about such ideas. more to come....

  • What is the difference between this and yoga?

  • Yoga does active stretching and energy work, but just in a more passive way than qigong for martial arts. Actually its called Daoyin which translates to chinese yoga... Internal dynamics and Chan Si Jing (silk reeling energy) more used for martial awareness and applications... I hope this helps some, it can actually take alot to explain deeply for detailed why's...

  • i hear that qigong is also for healing ?

  • nice video, thanks for sharing! i only count 7 of the Baduan jin though, do you not practice "clenching the fist with angry eyes?"

what is the origin of the swimming dragon qigong? it looks like a good exercise.

  • Thanks for the comments... Actually I left out the 7th one by accident, and I rendered the project then I saw it afterwards, but yes we do have it. The Swimming Dragon I learned, comes from Daoist Dao Yin and Qi Gong exercises. I am not sure of origins like who or when? Also I show only a couple routines of the swimming dragon exercises... More to come...
