  • I was about 14 when this movie played on TV and I remember it scaring the hell out of me. Now, the true story is still horrific, but the movie is very dated, the acting weak - though Steve Railsback does a decent job as Manson.

  • And who is doing that lame-ass cover of Helter Skelter that's playing n the car??? It really sucks.

  • People ... get your facts straight. Tex NEVER admitted to tying up the LaBiancas; all of the killers indicate Manson entered the LaBianca residence prior to sending in Watson, Krenwinkle and Van Houten. Also, Manson - and each of the defendants - had the right to "put on" a defense; they chose not to .. Manson testified out of the jury's presence, then said he didn't need to formally testify and the girls' attorneys rested the case because each of them wanted to try freeing Manson.

  • THIS TRIAL IS THE SECOND CRUCIFIXION OH CHRIST

  • its all about drugs from start to finish .. heavy substance abuse is the motive

  • baaaaaaaaad actors. horrible movie.

  • Some of the things in this are so far off. Tex admitted to tying the LeBianca's up, it wasn't Charlie.

  • DAMN!!! Steve Railsback is so fine in this video!!! especially at 7:43 and at 7:58.

    OOOOOOWWWWWEEEEEE!!!

  • DAMN!!! Steve Railsback is so fine in this video!!! especially at 7:43!!!

  • The murder scenes are HORRIFYING in this. I can only imagine what the poor victims were feeling and thinking ((shudder)). RIP Sharon, Abigail, Jay and Voytek.

  • El actor que hacía Tex Watson en esta pelicula de facto tienes unos ojos demoníacos !!

  • who's that playing the judge

  • Manson, Atkins, Krenwinkle and Van Houten were each convicted on all 27 counts of the indictment . Watson was extradited back to California and in a separate trial convicted on 8 counts and all were sentenced to death, however, the death sentences were automatically commuted to life imprisonment when a 1972 decision by the Supreme Court of California temporarily eliminated the state's death penalty. Later death penalty reinstatement did not reinstate the death sentences. THATs why Charlie lives

  • @beepollen1 It's also funny how cell phones would have saved them...someone could have either dialed 911 or texted...cutting phone wires in 2011...not likely!

  • The actress of Linda is Marilyn Burns- the main character in the texas chainsaw massacre. I like her.

  • I don't understand why some people are criticizing the acting... I think everyone in this movie is good. the linda girl is good, and they lawyers are good. manson is a little over the top. either way this movie is better than almost anything you'd see on tv today. it was pretty envelope pushing for it's time, and unaired in some states due to the disturbing subject matter.

  • @dianne93675111 because back then the acting seemed scriped like you can tell their acting ,i personally perfer when you cant tell its acting

  • Why did they give susan atkins blonde hair...? very unrealistic.

  • @DanielVanVuren they didn't give susan atkins blonde hair. she is sitting in the courtroom along with her codefendants, played by a brunette actress. surely you're not confusing the key witness in this clip (kasabian) with atkins. they were pretty different in appearance and personality.

  • @dianne93675111 back then she was brunette

  • what did manson say at the end??

  • @beepollen1 yeah , Jonny Depp is going to play me int the cinematic version.

  • The girl who played Linda Kasabian - how did she get that part? It's hard to believe that if they held auditions for the part, that she was the best they could come up with. My God what a terribly amateurish performance!

  • @chungiemunchin I actually heard the recordings of the real testimony and Linda sounded exactly like this when she was on the stand

  • I was 11 when the murders happened - I have never been the same since then. The

summer of 69 was the worst summer of my life. I was very young and yet every year

i dread Aug.9th and 10th as I relive what happened to those poor people. Charlie should never have been born never.

  • i believe her. i think she essentially told the truth about the murders and the family.

  • Shit movie.

  • BAMDANAproduti...I like the way you tell it as it is. most people don't get it they are the one's who are fine with walking the line punching in and out, being the yes man because they think it will get them some where, a very sad way to live. life is short people need to trip and fall, take chances and quit peeking out from behind there curtain. expand the mind dive in or blow away like the worthless dust they are.

  • At 4:14 it almost sounds as if she's saying "They played MIDGET songs!" haha

  • Bill was given a 23 minute tour of Hell with Jesus Christ, and tells about the absolute unspeakable misery that lost souls have to endure. You've never heard anything like this before! Please View the 23 Minutes is Hell Video Bill Wiese saw the searing flames of hell, felt total isolation, and experienced the putrid and rotting stench, deafening screams of agony, terrorizing demons, and finally, the strong hand of God lifting him out of the pit. "Tell them I am coming very, very soon!"

  • Though this film was released in either 1975 or '76., I first saw it in 1981 when I was in high school. It was both an interesting yet scary story besides being a classic crime story.

  • Charles Manson never killed anbody. He is innocent for the crime of murder, he only stole a car. Movies like this is bullshit, and gives Charles Manson a bad name. Fuck you all.

  • @BAMDANAproductions So you are saying none of this happened? Ok, maybe it was not anyone's fault and it is society. Let's blame it on them. Manson should have been executed and you sit here and tell everyone that he had nothing to do with this.

  • @Planktontwo I never said the murders didn't happen. But Charles Manson had nothing to do with this. You took the words right of my mouth. You should really learn up on your shit before talking. Acknowledge your brain before you Acknowledge your tongue. You'd do well to remember this.

  • @BAMDANAproductions Did Hitler kill 6 million Jews? Not physically himself. Come on, get with the program here. Physically, Manson may not kill these innocent people, but he ordered his family to, JUST LIKE HITLER did to the Jews. If Hitler had not killed himself and gone to trial, do you think he would have been found innocent?? Would you find Hitler innocent.? I imagine you would. You want name calling, you are a complete idiot for thinking that way.

  • @Planktontwo Seriously, I like Hitler. Hitler was also innocent. See it's people like you who will never see the world as it truly can be. You are just another one of the conformist, the unenlightened. You will live life unfulfilled, very boring and drab. You need to open your eyes and see what I see, see the world past the world, past life, past living, past it all, and look really far into the world past everything till you reach the end and see what I see.

  • @BAMDANAproductions You cannot possibly be this sick of a humanoid or primate. History paints itself with evil people who periodically kill other in mass destruction or genocide and you think it is ok. If that is possibly your true self, you are a very very sick person and need help. God has told us it is wrong to kill others and that we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves. But with you, that philosophy is probably wrong. Good luck. In this world you are a definite minority.

  • @Planktontwo haha, you're puny mind cannot possibly comprehend what could be. You have no idea who I am right now. But you will in the future. nataS ma I .ma I seY .live I mA ...... ...... ......

  • @Planktontwo Somebody please translate this for me.

  • @retrovertigoes Bamdana seems to think Manson was completely innocent of any crimes here and I pointed out to him that if he indeed is, then why would Hitler have been prosecuted and likely executed for genocide and the killing of 6 million Jews? My point simply is that Manson was guilty as charged but too should have been executed. Hope that explains it. To say that genocide is an accepted practice is totally wrong. God has told us to love our neighbors as ourself.

  • @Planktontwo Aha, well defintely makes more sense now and completely agree. :)

  • @retrovertigoes thank you retro. God's Blessings to you !

  • @Planktontwo maybe, but God took part in several acts of genocide by telling the Israelites to kill whole people groups under God's order. So should God be prosecuted for his past crimes? Should we give him an ounce of our faith just because he settles down once he had a child in Jesus Christ? Are his crimes against humanity, his creation and his responsibility, null and void just because of his words of love and acceptance now? What does that say about us then?

  • @Planktontwo so then Bush should be executed as well... And how about obama?

  • @Planktontwo Love your neighbors by wishing death upon them? The "evidence" presented at the manson trial was shameful, seeing how manson wasn't even allowed to put on a defense on the grounds of "he might convince the jury to believe him"... what? Linda was accused (by those involved in the murders) of planning copy-cat crimes to free her lover beausoleil. She was then given immunity to say manson planned every single murder- somehow convincing people to do it for little to no reason.

  • @Buddypalbro The claim by the Manson girls that Linda planned the whole thing as a copycat murder was nonsense. All the women have since admitted it was a ruse to throw the jury off & spread confusion. The various stories about it in their testimony never made sense and never added up. Even people like Catherine Share have admitted it was not true. They wanted to make Linda look bad to create Reasonable Doubt in the case against them & against Manson. Also, Manson chose not to put on a defense.

  • @nyre455 Like why discuss Manson lies when the important thing is what it would be like to have lesbian sex with Lynnette and Linda

  • this actor needs to be in jail for that HORRIBLE performance!

  • wow, actors back then were HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!! *slams door* slams it again* HORRIBLE!

  • @Armaniwazhere - wow, actors back then were HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!! *slams door* slams it again* HORRIBLE!"

Wrong, some of the ACTORS IN HELTER SKELTER were terrible. Many of the greatest movies AND ACTING performances of all time were filmed in the 1970's

Helter Skelter was a typical 1970's "Made for TV" movie, while overall it was well done and entertaining, the acting was hit and miss.

Other "horrible actors back then", Robert Deniro and Al Pacino. Ring any bells.

  • @CCRider100 Ummm,,, u know damn well what im talking about. So save it plzz..

  • @Armaniwazhere - Actually I don't. You did not say the actors in this film were horrible, but rather actors back then.

  • @CCRider100 girl BOOM

  • @Armaniwazhere WRONG. Very well acted. Are you, by chance, stupid?

  • @7777Scion Girl plz, go play with yourself.

  • @Armaniwazhere You may think so, but my dad showed me some video of stuff not really particular off anything, but people REALLY did talk like that.

In 30 years our children will laugh and say, why are those idiots dressed in baggy pants and crooked baseballcaps. They look like they couldnt afford clothing in their size....why are they saying yo yo yo.. and talk like they are all on drugs.

They really did talk "like, yeah mayun, far out, cool"

    Its really true!

  • @Armaniwazhere for the superstar reference you win +10 internetzs

  • @Armaniwazhere Better version than the re-make in 2006.

  • @Armaniwazhere This was a low budget production.

  • @Armaniwazhere

not to mention the music, editing etc

  • was she really this annoying? damn I can't stand her. couldn't have she done something before to avoid all those murders?

  • was linda blonde? I've always seen her as a brunette?

  • @ciccicasillas Yeah Linda was blondish...but the error is Patricia...she was brunette

  • hurray for linda kasabian

  • The actor playing prosecutor Vince "The Bug" Bugliosi actually looks like him. His book Helter Skelter is a very interesting read written from the prosecutor's point of view but also delves heavily into the personalities of all involved. He had one hell of a job to convince the jury that Manson was responsible but the automaton like behavior of the girls and Charles Watson and the testimony of Manson associates and followers made the jury realize Manson's absolute dominance of his family.

  • aftershock71:why do you wish that??

  • I really hope That Susan Atkins died in Agonizing pain!

  • @aftershock71 shes already dead

  • @magicbutterfly0 Helter Skelter (1975 or 76) I saw it as a kid when it first came out and was scared to death, trouble sleeping. Born in the 60s , because of the Manson killings I grew up believing hippies were evil and afraid of them. Prior to the Manson murders hippies were just considered goofy cool people who were slack asses wanting to play all the time with sex and getting high while bitching about the establishment politics. After the murderes they were seen as psycho criminals.

  • How do we know that when Linda was screaming "make it stop!!!" that it wasn't "code" for kill them! How else could "Sadie" make it "stop"??? The only way to make it "stop" would be to kill Sharon, Abigail, Jay and Voyteck so they would stop screaming in fear and pain. Incidentally it's worth noting that poor pregnant Sharon Tate was buried cradling her full term baby boy "Paul" in her arms after the coroner removed the perfectly healthy dead baby from her stomach. Sad!

  • Bone chilling really that this even happened,my parents lived in southern,ca as my mom was pregnant with me at the time and they moved away quickly after this to a different part of cali.this has always fascinated me this case.

  • Watch this movie in full and then listen to the Beatles, The doors, Neil young, and the moody blues. It will blow your mind to see how many messages are right in front of you and for years you just sang along. There is a lot of truth to what Charlie says. you are just programed to over look it. What a lie you have become hiding behind the hope that things will change, The water will eat the dirt and the left overs will still remember Charlie.

  • I really hope that Susan Atkins died a horribly painful death..she deserved it!!!

  • This is ridiculously interesting, and your trivia is cool :D!

  • I seen a sign as if God is already here. Also, one morning my baby daughter (who can't talk) was in the bed saying god, god, god. Then, she started saying her ABC's. We dream because our sole never sleep. I asked god to tell me about ancient history. Later I had a dream. It said that Chinese and blacks were fighting together. four thousand years ago they were.

  • @TPhiP Actually we dream because our paneal gland in our brain produces DMT and when your in heavy REM sleep (rapid eye movement) so your dreams are really a phycodelic trip and no one even knows it, the largest dose of this is when you die and while yourbody decomposes in the ground for months you actually in this dream world cause all the DMT in your body is released.

I beleive in some sort of higher power, but not nessessarily God.

Humans are just an adanvced form of bacteria. we destroy sht

  • i think having the beatles being played while showing charles at the labina house is pretty scary

  • A nutcase can be inspired by a bowl of jello pudding, so what? The fact is they should all be dead.

  • @DA90027 yep yep yep.

  • You set this woman up here to testify against me. And she tells you a sad story. How she has only taken every narcotic that is possible to take. How she has only stolen, lied, cheated and done everything that you have got there in that book.

But it is okay. she is telling the truth now. She wouldn't have any ulterior motive like immunity for seven counts of murder.

    - Charles Manson

  • my question is is why did they have to relate this to the Beatles? please answer

  • @TheJetsFan4Eva Manson was obsessed with the Beatles, particularly the song Helter Skelter. He thought the music contained great prophesies, etc.

  • @Valhallahighway thanks im doing a report on him in science about the mentally disabled, or phsycotic i thanks for helping me !!!!!! :D

  • @TheJetsFan4Eva

it was the white album in particular, and it was particularly helter skelter. he thought they were telling him to begin the race war in california, so that the blacks could overthrow the whites because the whites had been in power for too long and it was "the blacks' turn."

and there were also little details in the beatles' songs that he read into, like the song on the white album with "sadie" in the title, and one of his girls was named sadie.

  • @TheAltoQueen .....no idea.

  • they made her look way to young and innocent. she may not have killed anyone, but she still held some blame for going out the next night to kill again. she was not the sweet misguided girl they depicted in this film.

  • That's a '58 Buick all right -- 2 1/2 tons of chrome and horsepower ...

  • They were driving a 1958 Buick?

  • Yes, the probably did good things...like take out the garbage for their moms...said yes sir and no sir...said thank you when given something...let's talk about the bad things now...killed, tortured, ate, people. Yeah, the good outweighs the bad...NOT.

  • @Handiman544 You know nothing of the Manson Family. Learn more about them before you say shit.

  • I understand that Hitler,Ted Bundy. Jack The Ripper,The Hillside Strangler did some goods things in their lives that they didn't mention either!

  • I'm noticing comments removed from this page, and not by the author. Zoloftmcghee? What's up with that?

  • this looks like a film to me

  • And last, that's how she got off, by saying she didn't know it was to happen, and Bugliosi went along with it. It gave her a get outta jail free card. Add conspiracy to committ murder, even though she spilled, she'd be shaking the bars. Strangely, one doesn't hear the other girls or Tex say she knew. because it was better for all to say it was on the impulse not planned over many months.

  • In prison, Manson has the most dignity anyway....Tex and the other girls say how they help other inmates. Hello? Will one person on earth stand forward and give one case of where they have helped them? Not one friggin story. They're all a bunch of demons.

  • Charles has helped alot of people, he just doesnt brag about it, or use it to get out of prison, he has nothing to prove I guess, he is a very nice and ridiculously generous guy actually

  • OK, so if that is true, will just one person who Charles manson has "helped" stand forward, even if its anonymous, and say so. Tell us how he's helped him? I don't believe it.

  • See, you dont understand. It doesnt matter if you believe it or not, nobody has to prove anything to you. Believe me Charles has helped alot of people, and Im sure they wouldnt care to bother proving anything to you. For one thing, he donates money to Toys for Tots, even though he has got barely any money. Thats not even the tip of what he has done for people. It doesnt matter at all if you dont believe it, its still true.

  • Of course it doesn't matter what I believe. Your's is a standard "cookie cutter" response to a question that you can't answer.

  • I did answer you. I named some of the people he has helped. Oh ,and did I forget to mention myself ? My point was that alot of people he has helped would not bother provong themselves to you or anyone else, if you watch Charlie's parole hearings, he says almost nothing about the good he does, because he has nothing to prove to anyone, he doesnt do good things to be able to tallk about it, he does them because thats what is in his heart.

  • @Andromeda1741 You're right, he doesn't have to prove anything. As long as he's behind bars, who cares?

  • @twocentsin Not sure which comment you are replying to and Im not looking back in all these pages to find out. Behind bars to Charles Manson is like you in your living room, he doesnt mind it. I know people like you enjoy the suffering of others, but you'll have to look elsewhere, because Charlie knows how to be happy wherever he is. Plus he has lots of people who LOVE him unconditionally. Why dont you go watch a starving children commercial and get your rocks off, okay ?

  • @Andromeda1741 Oh, trust me, I feel sorry for Manson. He's the most sorry excuse for a pathetic human being.

  • @twocentsin Im sure you are. "Look straight at me, you see yourself" - Charles Manson. Ta !

  • Kasabian had many opportunities to physically participate in the killing of these and other people, but she never laid a finger on any of the victims.

  • LOL no she just helped the killers instead while they did these gruesome acts, she handed the weapon to atkins that killed tate and she also was the one who disposed of it. She should of gone to prison and rotted along with the rest of loony hippy doped posey

  • Did Kasabian every write a book? If not, she could have, so although she made some horrible mistakes and is a thief and laughs about it, she didn't cash in like the others.

  • @twocentsin

That's because she would probably fear for her life. That would be super sick!

  • I know why she won't write a book. Because the other killers are still in prison with the delusion they might get out some day. If she tells the truth and says she knew what was going to happen when they drove up the hill, they'd REALLY never get out. Silly me.

  • All Linda knows is what she saw that night and what Bugliosi told her to say, thats not enough for a book, she wasnt even at the ranch for too long. Her life story after that would be a bore, drugs and getting in trouble with the law, then her daughter doing the same thing.

  • I think Bugliosi didn't tell her what to say, but he twisted the truth. She knew what they were going to do, but she changed her mind during the act. To say she didn't know what was to take place removes the guilt of premeditation, and she's off because she didn't plunge knives into the victims. Big difference to not know vs. changed my mnd.

  • I agree about her intentions that night. Leslie Van Houten says that now, she wanted to go but when she got there it was very different from what she thought, and then didnt want to go through with it, I dont know if I believe her either but it doesnt really matter I guess.

  • I've scanned the comments above and am surprised no one here has mentioned this. As you see Tex Watson getting out of the car to cut the telephone lines....the car he is exiting is the actual car the killers drove on both nights. It was a 1959 Ford owned by Spahn ranch hand Johnny Swartz. I have read this from several accounts...the car was loaned to the film production by the LAPD. How's that for creepy realism?

  • Oh man, that is for sure creepy!

  • that's wrong, Tex told her to wait outside.

  • didn't this guy play ed gein in ed gein light of the moon?

  • Apparently so, according to imbd

  • This is awful acting :( And they were barefoot when they killed these people. Some false facts in this film.

  • what film is this? is this the helter skelter film?

  • I remember when this came out in the late 70's I think but I didn't want to watch it. I think it was called Helter Skelter but not sure. I truly believe Linda knew what they had planned to do. I saw her on Larry King about 2 weeks ago.

  • Maybe she did but Linda was the only one who showed any remorse and she was the only one who didn't kill anyone.

  • Yeah, but she was going to! "Here hold the knives for us Linda", "Hey Linda, go run over and see where a window is unlocked". on and on. Woudln't you, if you didn't know, say, "WHAT'S UP WITH THIS?????" And, after seeing the teenager get shot, wouldn't you , if you didn't know , say "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHAT'S THIS?" She knew.

  • I would not be so engrossed in this. Trust me, its a waste of time.

  • If she was so onboard with what they were doing, why did she run towards the house and beg them to stop? Both Tex and Susan recall her begging them to stop the killing. Linda didn't make that up. They both remember her as terrified and horror-stricken. That's not a Bugliosi myth... it really happened that way.

  • Begged them to stop. How about getting in front of one of the victims and saying NO! She went "offboard" when she saw the horror of it. she went out with the killers on the 2nd night. Think she didn't know what was to happen? Charlie commanded her to kill an actor in his apartment, and again she couldn't do it. She split shortly after.

  • @twocentsin You can't possibly be suggesting that a 5ft tall 98lb girl shouldve placed herself between the others& the victims, can you? they would have killed her, too. Fact is, she DID beg them to stop according to Atkins& Watson. Of course she should have gone to the police but to suggest that the only moral action would have been to jump in front of Tex's knife is kinda silly. At that point I'm certain that fear for her own life was a factor in her actions.

  • @cranemommy Right, I agree. Cops too far away to run to up on that hill, with the feeding frenzy going on, she was in a very ugly position. She got away as soon as she could, and in the end did what was within her to do. Can't imagine having to live with those memories. I hope someday she finds peace.

  • Thank you! I think she knew exactly what they were going to do or they would not have taken her into their confidence. If she didn't know the 1st night , she knew on the 2nd, she drove, she was there, she knew.

  • she likes blood

  • She got in too deep. Actually, she proves that drugs and alcohol are not the only ingredients needed to plunge knives into peoples body. It helps, but it doesn't make people serial killers.

  • Isn't that actress playing Kasabian the one who starred in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)?

  • Yes it is. Her name is Marilyn Burns.

  • I used to have this movie on VHS....it's IMO the best most accurate portrayal of the events. over-all very very well done & highly recommended for anyone interested in the story...

  • How in the hell they find an actor that actually looked almost identical to Mason. He can pass for his twin.

  • @alnpb Apparently he had to use tape to give his eyes that wild eyed stare.

  • fuck linda kasabian she turned on her whole family the ones who gave her a place to stay free drugs and food she should be the one rotting away in jail not charlie

  • Oh, c'mon. betrayed the family? How about saved some lives? Consider what you are saying.

  • lives of people who dont deserve to be saved

  • @sexyscenebetch You are a weak minded fuck. This man used his words to trick these girls into doing horrific things. Anyone that thinks charlie manson should go free is a sick fuck. You must be one stupid fuck to think he should go free. I bet you are 1 of his sick disciples that send letters to him.

  • actually i have never sent charlie or any other inmate a letter and am a disciple to no one i dont believe in his white supremecy but i do beleive people do what they have to i dont look down on anyone because i cant say that if in their position i wouldnt do the same thing i have a mind of my own and am not a mindless follower

  • @sexyscenebetch Thats a good reply. however, This man manipulated these women. Just like gangsters that recruit kids that come from broken homes and are quick to fallow anyone.

  • well not really because many kids join gangs because they live in dangerous areas and having a group of people to watch out for them is safer than not joining a gang so they dont really have a choice with manson they could leave whenever they wanted or not have even become one of the family in the first place and yo would be fine

  • that's true enough sexy but the thing is, if one chooses to perpetuate something that's broken and deadly to begin with, eventually they will be broken and dead too.

They must free their minds -- better to die nobly or raise up one's fellow humans than to die lost in the game that gangs impose on their communities.

It's a mental illness, &the law of karma is all that is required to prevail over wickedness. It's not our place to seek vengeance, God can do that much better than any of us.

  • @Ermengarde11 theyre children they do not think about things such as nobility when they are scared and facing death and sorry but im athiest i dont believe there is a god to save any of us

  • I respect that, but you know we can deny gravity exists too, and then drop Granny's china on the floor and see what happens. You can't prove love exists either, but surely you know it does! Regardless, Manson took the wrong approach and was a sociopath in that he didn't care who he harmed. Creating negative things doesn't help anybody, only positive approaches can help to improve anything.

He wanted to take out his anger on the whole world instead of transforming it.

  • @Ermengarde11 well i say we agree to disagree about the way life works and how to approach it

  • @Ermengarde11 FBI profilers call it "degenerate opinion of self". He hates himself, and knows he's a "creepy little man."

  • @twocentsin I didnt know you were Manson's best buddy. When did he pour out his soul to you ?

  • Well, there we have it. Nobody could speak as you do if they believed in Jesus. You are a bad tree, and your fruit is rotten.

  • @twocentsin thats a pretty blunt statement that because i dont believe in jesus im capable of evil but no one who believes in jesus could commit a terrible crime like the priests who molest children and the parents who beat their kids into going to sunday service christianity has one hell of a track record

  • I'm going to apologize because there are tons of non believers who are not evil, and very nice people! Sometimes I wonder who is more evil? The likes of the Mansons, or the Catholic priests who do what they do. Religion is at fault for many many evils throughout the centuries. Jesus called them on it, and that's why they killed him. Soon, we will all know the truth.

  • @sexyscenebetch The good inside a person stops them from killing people no matter the circumstances. Hence, Linda Kasabian. Their DNA is more good than evil. They cannot stab somebody with a knife, or think they have the right to take a life, OR think that it's ok, because "the people were not worth saving". Your words, sister, look forward to hell, you're on your way.

  • @twocentsin well i respect your oppinion but from my experience i disagree and i am an athiest and do not believe as a christian dont you believe in salvation for sins and i havent done anything anyway.

  • @sexyscenebetch Of Course you're an athiest! That's how athiests think, just

    like you say. Bad DNA.

  • @twocentsin its stereotypical to say all athiests think the same. i have my own oppinions.

  • @twocentsin I cannot begin to understand your comments as the Manson family were religious and believed in Jesus. If they did not believe in the supernatural they would not have committed murder. They believed in the second coming of Christ and the end of the world. They were not atheists but if they had been no one would have died.

  • You are ripe for the pickens girl. Any cult could scoop you up easily, if they haven't already. You exhibit that familiar anti social anger that we see in these "Bad trees that can't produce good fruit."

  • Then why would you want to see him free? He's a sick unit, sadly. All I can do is pray for him, because he needs it.

And I pray every day that no more people will go down this road, although this society is full of sick people who are lost.

  • That occurred to me too Dion, maybe she's one of his disciples. In Calif. as a kid I knew somebody whose friend was asked to join their family, thankfully she declined! Manson doesn't want to be free, he's said so, and refuses to free his own mind as well.

  • Don't forget. Linda ripped off her boyfriend of 5000 bucks and handed it over to Charlie. You don't call that room and board and free drugs? Get the facts before you regergitate your statements.

  • OMG, Bugliosi knows she knew, he told her to say she didn't , bargained full immunity for a full confession. She knew what they were going to do at Ciello drive. She just couldn't go through with it. The people would never had let her slide if they knew she knew. A deal was made.

  • Manson family use to rehearse killing people at the Spahn Ranch living room. Play acting with each other, so classy....Kasabian had to have known what they were going to do. Watson says he thought helter skelter was coming right after they got it going.

  • Thats not true, they practiced that stuff for self defense. Watch "Will for Kill for Me" MSNBC special, Catherine Share tells it.

  • Tex W.said they practiced in the living room like terrorists. It's on his official website "200 Questions".....

  • Did he say why ? He's not the greatest source of information anyway, you should see his parole hearings, pathetic. But most of the family memebers lie alot anyway. C. Share says Manson beat her and hit other women, Watson says he never saw Charlie hit any of the girls. Some people say Manson never referred to the race war he thought was coming as Helter Skelter, and it oges on and on. So who knows really but Tex is just pathetic one of the worst liars of all of them. But no one beats Atkins

  • Tex said it was more like fun and games, and realized why C.M. hosted the let's pretend to stab each other, unaware that they were going to be expected to kill . He also said that he and the girls didn't want to do it, which is not credible because they did it with way too much zeal. Manson told Diane Sawyer that his women "know what is expected of them", he doesn't have to tell them, (pimp).. Seeing his temper? Do pimps hit? Don't forget Helter Skelter was written in blood at both kills.

  • Helter Skelter was only written at the La Bianca home actually. It was spelled wrong too. I didnt comment back to prove you wrong or anything, my point was that they all contradict each other at one point or another, I was just giving examples of that.

  • Spelled incorrectly. Is that surprising??

  • The police removed a door from Spahn Ranch that said "Helter Skelter is coming down fast" which certainly helped put things together.
