@darealBigBoiLooch - This video is almost 3 years old. Daniel has videos available for 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons. All you have to do is enter in his name and search it out. He has only gotten better.

This guy "houghtonfootball" who posts below just goes from vid to vid of kids playing football and rags on them. He posts nothing and has nothing on his channel even about football. The guy is a total queer. Clearly Ramos can hit. Give the kid credit. Only time can tell.
@houghtonfootball Dude, seriously? He's still young. You can't be judging some 6th grader like that. You can't expect him to be a NFL hitter. It's just not going to happen.
@ringer454 - Don't worry about this guy houghtonfootball. I went by his channel and the only uploaded videos he has is for video games. There are alot of people like this. They do alot of talking because they feel safe writing from behind a computer screen instead of a helmet and pads. There is nothing he has done related to football. If he had any skills in football, let him post some videos. His screen name is a sham. If he knew football, he would understand what he is seeing.
maybe concentrate on getting his speed up and play some strong safety since height will play a major factor on his position. I would suggest the vertimax, helps him get his speed up, try to find a trainer with this piece of equipment in your area
this kid is good but you have to acknolwedge some of his "skills" are due in part to the fact that he is abnormally large for his age group. In the NFL, he's not going to be the biggest guy anymore.
@PotentialWhale - Yes, I do acknowledge that Daniel is large for his age. He does have other videos on youtube that can be viewed for 2009 and 2010. By the time Daniel is 18, he should end up around 5'10" or so at 220 or 225 lbs. He will never be the biggest guy on the field, but if you look at his videos, you can clearly see his "skills" even when his competition is at or around the same size. Even at the public shool level, there is nothing he can do about the size of his competition.
Wow guys, stop hating on the video, he's only in 6th grade. Find something better to do with your time than rag on kids. He looks great, obviously some talent there. And the fact that hes a strong christian is even more encouraging and promising for his future. Can't wait to see him in college.
Check out " Nick Klossner" he's a 10yr. old RB & Safety, he's # 5 this year. He has speed, jukes & an uncanny ability to read the open field. Also, soon to come are his 2010 5th grade travel team basketball highlights. If you think he's good at football, you should see him on the basketball court..... He's a true Point Guard & a speed demon on defense.
the kid looks good!! I see a lot of jealous dads coming against him here. Football is a strange sport, I pray he stays injury free by the grace of God. I ran a 4:34 in highschool but blew my knee out. God bless this young man,
@FLINTER47 - Daniel appreciates the kind words. We are praying for health and continued strength. We pray that God keep him. Our trust and hope is in Him.
Kid is big for his age, the kids he was playing with looked pretty small to be honest but he looks like he is going good for his age, i have a brother who is pretty good he plays MLB to he runs a 5 flat 2 seconds off from a 4.9, He is 5'10 and weighs i think 180 but he is really good he is a Freshman
@rangerocks68 -If you had read the bio before the video, you would find that Daniel has graduated top student two years in a row, has always been a 4.0 student in advanced classes, and is a devout Christian. What you see is in this video is a rising star who will get a D1 scholarship for either his athletics or grades. He has never failed in any grade or in anything he has done. He is powered by God!
Not so much skill but more size than anything. and his speed is much higher than anyone else on the field thats what makes the diffrence.still pretty good at tackling though
@cheeriosR -Just check out the videos for 2009. Daniel continues to dominate in both football and track. He has grown alot since this video. He comes from a family of large men. His doctor says he will be a big guy too! If you are waiting for others to catch up, that might not happen until he gets to college.
I played football in the SEC and i can tell you that you will see this kid playing D1 ball on Saturdays in the future. Great speed, size, instincts, aggressiveness, and is explosive. I read that he is a great student, Christian, and is already involved in a speed and strength program. You guys are doing it the right way. I am in the same position as you guys, but with my son only being 6.
@house245 Thanks for the encouragement for Daniel. He works real hard. It is always nice to hear others who have the experience playing football at a high level leave a remark to encourage young players to keep working. Again, thanks for your remarks. Daniel appreciates it very much.
If you would like, his current 2009 videos are posted in youtube. You can see how much progress he has made and watch how he continues to dominate. All you need to do is enter his name, "Daniel Ramos", and you can answer this question for yourself.
Daniel was 5'4 when these videos were taken. He is now 5'6 and has new videos for 2009. Check them out. Just put his name in and you will see them listed.
In this video, Daniel is 11 years old. We have recently posted new videos of Daniel for 2009. If you put his name in the search window on youtube, his new videos are ready to viewed. Daniel plays running back and linebacker. He had another phenominal year. Check out his new videos. They will not disappoint!
Damn kid, you're a beast for an 11 year-old. Never give up, no matter the circumstances, don't drop out of school either. Haha, best wishes of luck to get into the NFL, kid. :)
This kid is gonna make it big time.. and when he does
1. give me an autograph..
well thats pretty much it.. but keep him going on this .. he cant take a year off. and hes also going to have to do good in school .. i know .. you already know all of this. but i speak from experience.
he's a great football player very inspiring how he plays with heart and never takes a play off he's a good example for me and other young football players
No insults here he looks good...I coach 9-10 football we have a weight limit of 115 over that and you have to play middle line and you can't advance the ball..I have a kid at 120 I wish I could put him at ML we would be even better than we are....or DE but rules are rules he gets a constant double team and slows him tremendously ..any how keep workin hard and keep posting I love to show these vids to my TEAM!!!
I appreciate your encouraging words to Daniel. We will soon be posting new videos of Daniel in Junior High and Select. Again, thanks for sharing your positive thoughts with him.
Just by looking at the video you posted of your son Daniel, he is one hell of a player. Nice job. Football is not a game for the weak at heart. If you wanna run with the BIG BOYS you better be able to take what's coming. I will be looking for Daniel Ramos in the years ahead when it comes time for college ball. I have yet to get my son going and I will show him Daniels ambition on the field.
well i think this video is great! i showed my 8 yr old and eer since he watched this vid he has been inspired .he hit hard before but now he goes all out! keep crackin daniel ramos lll! good job kid
well i think this video is great! my son is 8 and i showed him this video and has been inspired! he hit hard before and now this just let him know that this is football and when you go all out ,this is the result you get .good job daniel ramos the lll
I appreciate your encouraging words to Daniel. We will soon be posting new videos of Daniel in Junior High and Select. Again, thanks for sharing your positive thoughts with him.
What kind of request or post is that? Why would we go to CT when everyone knows that Texas is one of the top recruiting states around? I cannot imagine why an adult would make such an immature post. It's time to grow up a little! My suggestion is to enjoy the videos and let the kids play.
lol its funny how you use propper grammer and words. and Daniel is really good hope to see him in the pros one day keep it up Daniel never give up im 10 i play basebal but i used to play football keep it up you have a good chance to make the pros
cut the crap droideka126. the kid is a monster i can guarantee he'll go higher then u ever dreamed of. Daniel Ramos lll is a monster. I'd be scared to c him coming after me. if he works hard who knows wat can happen. I know hes a kid but a kid with tht strength and tht age is just unbelievable. A brian urlacher in the making folks great vid
yea I have the same problem with my son he's bigger and faster than other kids we joined a league that has a weight and age class and also a unlimited weight class with 7th 8th and 9th graders called All Americans check out some of my clips MrElSandman33 your son looks like a great ball player north and south just like I like but too bad you guys dont have leagues like ours to get his most advancement, and for all the haters Daniel if their not hating your not doing right BE EASY
Whats the age group for the league he is playing in? I have been a youth football coach for nearly 10 years now and judging by the size of the kids and the way they are playing it looks like they are what we call "b" league midgets ages 9,10,11.If he is in the 8th grade I'm guessing he is 13? Here in Ct he would have to play with the 12,13,14 year olds where he would be actually getting blocked and wouldnt be hitting 70 lb kids.
When this video was taken, Daniel was 11 years old. In fact, in this video, he is playing with kids his age or older. He happens to be bigger and much faster than most kids in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Daniel is now 12 and plays select football and for his junior high. He remains much bigger than his peers and still scores on every other carry. Daniel is a highly regarded and soon to be recruited athlete in football and in track. He graduated as the top academic student in intermediate.
In a few weeks, I will be posting new videos of Daniel. Many will see how Daniel is dominating in junior high and select football. His intention was to post some videos for friends and relatives to see, but instead he was often insulted. It was said and often implied that he was older or playing against inferior players and when he would go into Junior High or select, he would not dominate. And once again, Daniel is proving all that wrong. Just appreciate the videos-enough said!
This Guy Daniel Ramos sure does look a lot bigger and a step faster than the other kids on the field. I'm positive that he's at least a half year older. In youth sports that makes a world of difference. His parents should have moved him up to a higher level, to play with kids his own weight and speed. I must say, that his technique and instincts are great however, i'm not sure if it's because he's obvisiouly a older kid. Daniel, those are babies your out ther hitting. Step your game up!
I have replied to other posts like this one many times. In the State of Texas, you are confined to play in your age bracket. You cannot move up or down based on who is big or small. If Daniel wants to play, this is his only option. Recently, Daniel was selected to play in a league of 12 and 13 year old athletes and is dominating once again. He is playing with other boys who are older than him and Daniel is having the same success. Daniel is what he is-A great athlete and scholar.
I'm playin in at Junior Varsity.Last year goin into 7th grade at 5'4 and 130 lbs.I kno not too good But im not fat dont get it twisted.i play Outside linebacker and tightend..u?
you can never tell if he wil be good in high school or college, some kids never get bigger, stronger, faster or better, sorry if people disagree, thats the truth
no way he is legal unless he is the son of a former NFL player...and if he is legal they should move him up...he gets nothing out of this...and when everyones catches up size wise he wont be half as good and he will get frustrated.,,,hope not but just a thought
In Texas, most, if not all, impose age and weight limits on its players. You cannot move up or down in brackets like some other states depending on your age or weight. Daniel is playing with his age group and met the 120 lb weight limit to carry the football. He is playing with his peers. If people think he is too big, he would have to sit out of football because there is no other alternative. He loves football too much to do that! Kids grow big in Texas!
texas football!thats the way we do!i would show off my awesomeness hits for my team wich is convenientley close to arlington texas but i dont have a camcorder to record and post my helmet seperating hits.also im a fairly good quarter back...or so ive been told.
great player. god size and tech. he is just what coaches pray about at night. a big guy who isnt afraid to mix it up regardless of size. he supposed to be bigger than the people he hits. just the way the game goes.
i will not knock the size differential by no means..their clearly is a size difference, but the bottom line he has tremendous technique..fills the holes fast, and for a big kid gets low when he hits..ensure he keeps his head up and hit on the rise..work on his speed and explosion in off season and he will dominate in high school the same way.keep up the great work...check out another pop warner MLB. Andrew Hudson out of Murrieta, CA. he will be a freshman next year at vista murrieta
Not to knock the kid, because one he is a kid and two he does have some solid hits. But all the kids he was playing against were way smaller than him. On most of those kick offs, the people didn't even try to block him. I wish him luck though, but when he starts playing against people his own size or bigger let us know how he is doing. Wish him luck though. At least he isn't ducking his head and using poor technic. So he has that going for him.
When do you suppose that his size will be equaled on the field? His physician says he will be bigger than most kids he will play against until he gets into a college program. Let me get this straight. We can't evaluate his talent because he happens to be bigger and faster than his peers? He has already received letters from Div-1 schools inquiring about him. To my understanding, they like him because he is big, fast, and dominates his age group! Just the thing you choose to "knock" him for.
Let's just enjoy the videos and let the videos speak for themselves. If you want to see him playing running back, then just enter his name in youtube. You will see why there is such in interest in him. Thanks for the comment.
Daniel is not in high school yet. Are you referencing a high school letter? What do you mean by saying "a letter ain't nothing"? It would be my suggestion to just watch the video and enjoy it for what it is.

yea I have the same problem with my son he's bigger and faster than other kids we joined a league that has a weight and age class and also a unlimited weight class with 7th 8th and 9th graders called All Americans check out some of my clips MrElSandman33 your son looks like a great ball player north and south just like I like but too bad you guys dont have leagues like ours to get his most advancement, and for all the haters Daniel if their not hating your not doing right BE EASY
MrELSandman33 2 years ago

Daniel is what he is-A great athlete and scholar.

no way he is legal unless he is the son of a former NFL player...and if he is legal they should move him up...he gets nothing out of this...and when everyones catches up size wise he wont be half as good and he will get frustrated.,,,hope not but just a thought
TheSoftballdad 2 years ago
In Texas, most, if not all, impose age and weight limits on its players. You cannot move up or down in brackets like some other states depending on your age or weight. Daniel is playing with his age group and met the 120 lb weight limit to carry the football. He is playing with his peers. If people think he is too big, he would have to sit out of football because there is no other alternative. He loves football too much to do that! Kids grow big in Texas!

great player. god size and tech. he is just what coaches pray about at night. a big guy who isnt afraid to mix it up regardless of size. he supposed to be bigger than the people he hits. just the way the game goes.
cynfrank08 2 years ago
i will not knock the size differential by no means..their clearly is a size difference, but the bottom line he has tremendous technique..fills the holes fast, and for a big kid gets low when he hits..ensure he keeps his head up and hit on the rise..work on his speed and explosion in off season and he will dominate in high school the same way.keep up the great work...check out another pop warner MLB. Andrew Hudson out of Murrieta, CA. he will be a freshman next year at vista murrieta
chanceusmc 2 years ago
he makes good play man
jonson214 3 years ago
Not to knock the kid, because one he is a kid and two he does have some solid hits. But all the kids he was playing against were way smaller than him. On most of those kick offs, the people didn't even try to block him. I wish him luck though, but when he starts playing against people his own size or bigger let us know how he is doing. Wish him luck though. At least he isn't ducking his head and using poor technic. So he has that going for him.
frank2982 3 years ago

A Letter ain't nothin homie. don't fool yourself
budloc2 2 years ago
Daniel is not in high school yet. Are you referencing a high school letter? What do you mean by saying "a letter ain't nothing"? It would be my suggestion to just watch the video and enjoy it for what it is.
