I know I ramble on but.. Why limit yourself to Mario Paint? Do you have any songs that you made with say FL studio or something of the likes? You truly have an artistic mind that could be used to a better use than you could imagine. I'd love to see how well you could make songs for say, games, or a full band. You never know. I guess the thrill in Mario Paint is the fact that you made/remade a song with many setbacks, having only a few octaves, and only the ability of 4/4 and 3/4 time..

As a response to your critique, I made this song almost like a bass feature. I wanted the bass line to stand out amongst all the other melodies and moving lines. But, I do understand where you're coming from. And I will take that critique to future pieces. And to your second comment, about using other programs, well, I figure I'm just a fifteen year old messing around with Mario paint, what's the big deal? but I've always wanted to compose much bigger and full pieces. You can do songs in other time signatures in Mario Paint too

You can only do 4/4 or 3/4, but can speed it up to 6/8 and other tempos. Even 13/8 is possible, I've seen it. Making triplets and sixteenth notes in 1 song is quite hard. You'd have to switch the time signature in a part in the song. and to Thepillows93, You have quite a musical mind, don't sell yourself short kk?

I am purely shocked. There are few songs where I can say the bass was even better than the lead, yet still complimented in a way that fit that song completely. If you want a critique, as a song. The bass part of a song ALWAYS goes with the percussion. So, my critique is, you made the percussion too simple, to the point the bass 1-upped it every possible way. If you had the equilibrium of every individual part in this song, you would've made in what I could say, a perfect song in every aspect.

I heard that there's a program you could use for Mario Paint Composer that can lower or raise the octave of each note in the soundset manually and to degrees not even possible on Composer itself! Does anyone no about it? I'm trying to do this REALLY difficult song and even with the sharps and flats Mario paint will need a octave adjustment in order for me to perfect my make for this REALLY difficult song.

Just download it the regular way...(google). Everything should be there. As for wanting to keep your songs and just upgrading, there should be a document in one of your Mario Paint Composer folders that explains that.
