Yes there is. You need to want to discover new sights, sounds, feelings, and ways of thinking that you may not even have ever imagined, to enjoy thinking about the mysteries of existence, be ready to have your own beliefs challenged, And to enjoy or at least not mind losing control. I've had some incredible life-changing experiences, among them synthesthesia, becoming a higher being of which I was a part, and discovering a new wedge-shaped language. But you never know what salvia will do to you.

And if you have the patience, try to get hold of a small Salvia Divinorum cutting. But ordinary dried leaf also would do the trick.

I haven't tried any 40x stuff, my thing is to grow my own 'drugs'. Weed, salvia - of course only where it's legal (disclaimer). :)

A few elements go into this being a bad trip:

1) Cramped space

Way too little room - try an open space instead, fresh air, trees, water - this is a plant with a lot of female energy.

2) Industrial aggressive movement in the background

Try ambient, anything mellow instead.

3) Chattering girlfriend

I'm sure she's a great girl, but trips should be more introspective and shouldn't be interrupted for at least an hour.

You should be communig with nature.

hey im about to buy a x40 trand for my first time is my room ok for it, its fairly cosey its a mellow cream coloured room and light wooden flooring very uplifting and more importantly it has a lock.

i have quite alot of space in it for its size its like 11feet by 11 feet i have 2 big windows aswell and a powerful fan and a comfy sofa?

Sure, anything mellow, put on some Crosby Still, Nash & Young - Woodstock, Almost Cut My Hair - or Anggun. Turning down the lights also helps with introspection.

The difference is in how you take Salvia. If you take some salvia, chew it up to wet it, and keep it between your cheek and gums for 15 minutes, and then take a good hit of marijuana - I have found that to be the most uplifting combinations ever.

Orally, Salvia is only absorbed by the cells lining the mouth - not the stomach.

Yea, both vids of mine are from just one toke. Im usin a butane lighter btw ;-) its recommended to burn the salvia at a high enough temp to get the best effects.

I only need enough to cover a fingernail really, then empty mu lungs and take a really deep breath untill my lungs are completely full.....then i hold it as long as u can. You should feel the salvia come over you like a wave before u need to let your breath out.

yer m8. well we did some last nite.. but i dont think we had enough.. the other to guys got something off it, but i just felt stoned for a bit. my mate had a trip he said it was good..but we didnt really take it in turns, it was like hectic, we dont know how much we were menna have either.

Use my video as a learning experience...Dont laugh too much at ur mates...only with them...dont talk too much and dont fuck with their heads and you will be fine. Just remember, no matter how fucked up your experience is you will be back to yourself in about 15mins....just go with it and relax. Film your experience so u can watch it back :-).
