I have that miku but a bigger version! and OMG I WANT TO DO THIS! how much did the hardware to do this cost? I have a really cheap laser that has DMX512, could I possibly recreate it in a simpler, single colour way?

@BassDrivenMassacre You need an ilda powered laser projector (not DMX512) second you need a laser projector offcourse *recommend 30kpps for nyancat graphics lasershow (they aren't that expensive for china laser projectors nowadays.

as for the controller and the software: please look at the site, pangolin (dot) com

and check out the quickshow package and look for a dealer near you (they are global) this is the most affordable and bang for buck software

@BassDrivenMassacre yes that will work, but! email them and ask if the projector is TTL or analog, you want to have analog as it has way more colors an TTL RGB is worthless TTL gives you only like 7 colors and analog all colors you can think of :D

I use an analog RGB laser projector with LW50k galvo's (scanning at 30kpps) the controlling hardware is called the QM2000 which is included it the hardware/software bundle called LD2000

*by pangolin* (it's the most expensive one of their range but best)

Pangolin LD2000 has : Intro, Basic and pro

I have LD2000 pro. They have the best support i've ever seen on the planet.
