Hey did you know that you can play the 4 blokus versions for free Online? There is a competition room and a ranking. The best players play there. If you want to try just write blokus online on google and you'll see the link. You can also chat with the other players, but for that you must say that you are 18 years old in the registration. Have fun!
actually snicholson there is no reason they could not make a proper giant blokus. There are only thirty five possible six segment shapes and the grid would only need to be 36 by 36, it would be a fun new challenge and there is no reason it could not be made.
"giant blokus" is a stupid sham, all those testicle lacking wimps made was a larger board, they could have REALLY made a giant blokus by adding the SIX segment pieces to the game but NOOOOOO all they did was frigging make everything bigger,
@Zurround100 Actually, it works well in the library programs as it draws people over. For these things, a simpler game is better. If it did have more pieces, then they would be the same small size, and it wouldn't be the same to play.
I couldn't help but laugh at the voice you made for Giant Blockus. Currently I use Settlers of Catan for my "Go to..." game as you put it, though I admit if someone doesn't exactly grasp the importance of town placement at the beginning of a game, they'll pretty much have a bad run. Good review, I'll have to think about getting this to play with my cousins. :)
Thanks for the review. In addition to Blokus and Giant Blokus, there is also Blokus Duo (aka Travel Blokus) a 2 player version, and Blokus Trigon which is a triangle as opposed to square based version. As well there is Blokus 3D (aka Rumis) but this is a somewhat different different game.

Blokus truly is a fantastic game, but the intro to this show was even better than the actual overview of the game. :)
