chris mathews is a rare talk show host who is opinionated and focused and able to put pressure on guests to get to the heart of the issue, but he's' not a blowhard conservative. he has the best political show. oreilley is watchable. hannity/glenn beck are not.

The UN inspections found no indication iran had a nuclear weapon program besides the uranium parts found in the reactors that were bought from pakistan. If you strike on iran, the shia population in iraq will react. It would be good if iran had nuclear weapons so they can have a policy of massive retaliation as eisenhower did to protect western europe and the USA, they cannot afford a nuclear war in the persian gulf with all its oil, so there is no other option than diplomacy.
