Also you can feel lik yur the character. Cuz i felt lik i wuz literally in the game (lik i mostly am) and the graphics and everything is perfectly fine. The floating devices in the characters hands during a scene okay thts yu but tht didnt happen to me. I flet for the characters. And it has plenty entertainment unless yu liv under a rock wen yu were playing it. Cuz jeezuz dude yu r missing out. Yu r being so negative bout the game. Also the enemies arent brain dead they r smart! I wuld get my ass blasted by em. Even the creatures has intelligence. yes wen i 1st started playin it to me sucked but as i kept playin it wuz prity good.

Well, this game was originally made for 360 first, then later put on to ps3 instead of being developed for both consoles. the ps3 version is full of glitches and requires a long 5GB installation sequence to even play it, the colours appear washed out and the animation is a lot slower than the 360 version.

The are major problems but it is a good shooter for 20. I just got it and it took a while to understand but its can be fun and for 20 can't beat it.

one of the best games i ever played...and i played them all. (play videogames for about almost 15 years now)...don´t know bout the ps3 version but the 360 version is supreme. multiplayer never gets old! the design of the online lobby is just great...yea the story is a little stupid...but sadly almost every story of a viedeogame is. also the ai is stupid...but it doesnt matter much, because the level design is superb and makes this game a fun playthrough...i´d give it 9 out of 10

i agree with you the ps3 version sucked and there were too many glitches in the game and it was far too bright. there was a part in the game when the huge rocks fell on the main character in the game and instead of the rocks falling on him the huge rock went right threw him and then when the rocks stopped falling the he fell on the ground. so yes this game does suck and that's why i returned the game and got the xbox 360 version which was far superior . if i was ya'll i would get the 360 version

ok, well i just bought the game for ps3. and this is wat i experienced: The frame rate was totaly acceptable, only chuggin once or twice at the pirate fortress. the graphics were definately acceptable and still awsome. i have played the 360 version and this is just as good. the added content aint much but its there. i think this review exagerates alot of small things. the controls can be changed and so can the visuals if u change u tv settings. great game on both consoles.

One thing I would have loved was more 360/PS3 version comparisons. A lot of stuff said just didn't comply with the feedback I've been reading with the 360 original, so I'm lead to believe Capcom just did a really bad job porting? Or do you just hate this game fullstop?

Because if it's the latter I'd probably go with the consensus and give this a try.

We are new actually. We've only been a site for about a month.

We will definitely be doing comparisons in the future, but right now because of HDCP restrictions we can only capture PS3 via component. We'd rather wait and use HDMI so we can show both consoles at their full potential instead of short-changing the PS3 like GameTrailers does.

And you're right about Capcom doing a bad job of porting it to the PS3. It's still not a great game, but the graphics and performance are better on the 360.

Not to discourage you, but you need to have an open mind when reviewing a game. Review the game for being what it is. *Example* Don't let a sports player review an RPG. It doesn't fit.

I have the full game. Nobody cares about most of the thinsg he just said. The only 2 problems i have with the game are the masters and connecting to rooms on the online battles. Sometimes when your trying the kill the bosses, it gets boring and the picture gets somewhat blury.

The online battles take you up to 5 tims to find a working room but once you play, it was worth the wait. I dont know why people are giving it 5s and 4s....i give it a 7.2

Agreed, its a 7 or 8. It does what it does best really well, if you get what i mean. The whole climbing on Mechs and using the guns as weapons after they blow up was a really great idea. The Online when it works well is really, really fun.

He is just restateing what every one said about the first game. Also he says the Audio is unbareable, then he says its good. Okay? I really don't think he played the game. I played it, and its NOT even close to how bad he is trying to make it sound like, trust me, play it for yourself and make your own choice. In fact download the demo off PSN and see if you like the game, the Online is really good. Also if you need a review to tell you weather you need to by a game or not, you need some help.

i did download the demo and the online part was terrible, i couldn't even join in a game, they should have also released a single player demo as i mainly wanted to see what that was like, the demo really doesn't give you a feel of what the real game would be like.

We never said the audio was unbearable or good. We said the sound effects are decent (with guns and explosions sounding PRETTY good) and the music is very annoying.

I did play this game, as you can obviously see by the video review you're watching right now.

This just felt like a Bash fest on Lost planet then it did a review, saying the gameplay was boring, but not really saying why, Stateing that the fire was like the fire from Goldeneye, was this a real review or just a Bash fest? it was the same with monster hunter, ign gave the game a low score because of the bugs, i saw beyond that and enjoyed the game immensely, but with this game, i tried to see beyond the poor bugs and poor online mode but i just can't it really is too bad, the main thing that has put me off is the pointless shooting, it ain't mission based like the monster hunter games, i was expecting this game to be like the monster hunter games.

BTW Found it 6:43 Extremely Funny, and wtf is up with the rifle butt, What is the point of even having it, if you have to hit the enemy 8 times to kill him, like I used it in the Online Demo, I was like wow it would be easier if I just shot at him from a distance instead of using stealth to sneak up on someone, it should only be one gun butt to kill an enemy like every other game, Kinda makes sense.
