I get confused with pendulums... I try doing it, but my poi flies off above arm level. I guess I'm doing it too strong, but I still don't get the hang of it.

if cap stood for CAP antispin pattern it would be a recursive acronym, but it stands for continuous assembly pattern....

@freedomcaller What you say is true, but the fun thing about words is they mean what the community agrees they mean. Keeping this relative signification significance in mind, "continuous assembly pattern" isn't such a friendly phrase, so we started brainstorming other things to call CAPs that still use the acronym, and "capped antispin patterns" was our favorite. We don't mean to say our choice of words is the best. It's just our favorite. What's yours? :)

I thought CAP was acronym for Continuous Assembly Pattern.. (that being a move where each hand goes through several different "driving styles" (antispin, inspin etc)? I might be wrong though, for some reason I remember Alien Jon saying that (isn't he the one who coined the phrase?).So then there would be many different kinds of CAPs.But something got jammed up while the term started to spread, and now people call that extension-antispin pattern "the CAP".. =D.I guess it kinda looks like a cap.
