While Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi railed against the Bush Administration for using enhanced interrogation techniques on terror detainees, she seemed to have conveniently forgotten that she was briefed on the use of waterboarding way back in 2002. When news of the briefing became public in 2009, Pelosi charged the CIA with lying, but was refuted by Obama-appointed CIA director Leon Panetta.

Why does she keep saying that the Republicans are being partisan? The Democrats are trying to criminalize the policies of the Bush Administration. I can't imagine anything more partisan than that. Its ridiculous to accuse Republicans of partisanship for defending themselves.

The Democrats have no issue with partisan attacks when going after Republicans. As soon as it's someone like Nancy Pelosi then we get the "Americans are tired of partisanship" schpeil and we should put the past behind us. Meanwhile Nancy Pelosi is tap dancing all over the place for whatever Obama wants now to get on his good side. Throwing full support behind passing his Health Care reform ASAP. Obama is playing politicians in Washington and the American people like a fiddle.
