Adventure Island (NES) - Level 8-4 - Perfect Run (Wii Virtual Console)

The hardest game I have ever come to beat. I own it complete with the box and everything...upon beating it, I stuck a slip of paper in there with the date and time I beat it. It took me maybe six-eight hours, but of course I left my NES on for breaks. Biggest accomplishment in my 15 years of life. :D

I remember over a decade ago making it all the way to 8-3 and never being able to make it across that last series of platforms. This game was sadistic perfection. But maybe it's all good because the ending is horrible. They should have straight up sent you a bottle of Jack Daniels upon completion.
