@JNichols326 I dislike the Transformers movies because even though the visual effects are impressive, that's all there is to them. There is no character development and no reason for me to feel attached to any of the characters. The humor is juvenile and does nothing to progress the movie in any way. Not to mention the terrible pacing, acting, script, ect. These two franchises should never be compared, it does a great disservice to Harry Potter. Explain to me why you like transformers.

This movie pays up after all the crap I had to go through The Order of the Phoenix, The Half Blood Prince and Part 1. My biggest problem was the Half Blood Prince, you skipped all the action scenes just to put in love stories? What the hell was WB thinking!? @LIUKANG02 harry does die in the movie as well as the book. the death spell killed the horcrux and not harry. he was in that trippy white space . that was both in the movie and the book.

When Harry and Voldemort where flying around you know what I would have added that wasn't in the book? A fist fight. Oh my God it would have been awesome. Y' know, the two of them just fighting, no magic, no wands just them.
My favorite part- after Snape's memories of course- was when Harry steps out right in front of Snape. That was new in the movie and pretty epic. And then Argus Filch ran in and ruined it hilariously... Lawl.
@RubikofTheRubik I disagree. They made it a little messed up to me. They shorten the trials badly but then they extend the dragon scene which they didn't need to do. The dance scene from the beginning was dumb but over all I'd have to say it was pretty fun though.

Voldemorts signature wail, lmao i mean ive only heard him use two spells. Everything else is a high pitched "MMMWWWAAAAuUUUUUUUHHHHH" not saying thats a bad thing. thats just how voldemort rolls. on a side note, voldemort holds his wand like a pimp lol
I remember reading the fifth book after watching the movie. The book was a thousand times better. I was surprised, though, HP7 did keep pretty close to the book, probably because they split it, but either way. It was epic.
ok, 1-6 is a blur, i don´t even know. i wasn´t blown away. 7 (1+2) was great. obviously i still liked the books better, don´t know how you couldn´t. but is was still way better than i thought it was gonna be!
what i liked most: the 3 brothers scene (i know it´s in the first part, but i watched them very closely, it´s one movie for me)
what i missed most: harry telling neville, that the snake needs to be killed!
Harry is loved because he is popular due to his father's and mother's courage and sacrifice mostly. I don't think he is really that great of a wizard as exaggerated by others. I mean he is great but for instance he cannot come near, say, LeStrange or Lucius Malfoy or Voldemort. ( Ok I'm not so sure about Lucius Malfoy may be Harry can compete with him or may be not ) My favourite guys are Neville and Ron. They are always picked on or bullied or dismissed or whatever it is..My English, sorry.
I'm pretty sure there was a pretty big NYAAAAGHHH when Voldemort attacked the force field around the school by himself single-handedly. It was pretty awesome in that clip though.

I finally watched the movie to Blu Ray.. but all you guys said it was pure action.. I mean I liked it but there wasn't that much action in it.. just like 20 minutes in total or so
As director I would've pushed production to add a scene where Harry uses the Elder Wand to repair Hogwarts, that would've been AMAZING to see, and then finally use the Elder Wand to repair his original wand. Breaking the Elder Wand was an interesting touch but I think putting it back inside Dumbledore's grave would've been more appropriate.

And J.K Rowling wanted the film to be as true to the book as possible as it was the last one, due to the numerous book to movie mistake before and the fact americans seem to call it Sorcerors stone rather than philosophers
@breasthound Because of the prophecy that they found in Order of the Pheonix, which implies that Harry and Voldemort are to kill each other. Voldemort heard the first part of the prophecy when Harry was a baby so that's why Voldemort tracked him down and killed his parents to get to him.

1. Classic, cute, lighthearted, colory.
2. Mysterious, great actors, bit to long, great sequel.
3. Favorite movie, awsome characters, great actors, not to dark, good looking cgi.
4. Way to dark, tryed to be epic and failed, great actors, to fast, to much cuttings from the book.
5. Lighthearthed yet dark, nice new beginning of set-up, great actors, great battles.

Loved the Piertotum Locomotor McGonnagall used on the suits of armor - I got chills when she said the line from the book.
I like all of the books - the books are so uniform that it all feels like it's the same book.

@LIUKANG02 harry does die in the movie as well as the book. the death spell killed the horcrux and not harry. he was in that trippy white space . that was both in the movie and the book.

My opinion Of the movies:
1: A good start.
2: Surprised and it was pretty good for a sequel.
3: Very well done and it's for all ages!

My favorite part- after Snape's memories of course- was when Harry steps out right in front of Snape. That was new in the movie and pretty epic. And then Argus Filch ran in and ruined it hilariously... Lawl.

@RubikofTheRubik I disagree. They made it a little messed up to me. They shorten the trials badly but then they extend the dragon scene which they didn't need to do. The dance scene from the beginning was dumb but over all I'd have to say it was pretty fun though.

I remember reading the fifth book after watching the movie. The book was a thousand times better. I was surprised, though, HP7 did keep pretty close to the book, probably because they split it, but either way. It was epic.

ok, 1-6 is a blur, i don´t even know. i wasn´t blown away. 7 (1+2) was great. obviously i still liked the books better, don´t know how you couldn´t. but is was still way better than i thought it was gonna be!
what i liked most: the 3 brothers scene (i know it´s in the first part, but i watched them very closely, it´s one movie for me)
what i missed most: harry telling neville, that the snake needs to be killed!
so, yeah the movie is great...! :)

Harry is loved because he is popular due to his father's and mother's courage and sacrifice mostly. I don't think he is really that great of a wizard as exaggerated by others. I mean he is great but for instance he cannot come near, say, LeStrange or Lucius Malfoy or Voldemort. ( Ok I'm not so sure about Lucius Malfoy may be Harry can compete with him or may be not ) My favourite guys are Neville and Ron. They are always picked on or bullied or dismissed or whatever it is..My English, sorry.

One of my favorite parts is when he looks at Snape's memories, and that whole scene is in and of itself amazing, and then when he stands up straight, the look on his face and just his reaction to it..... my gosh

As director I would've pushed production to add a scene where Harry uses the Elder Wand to repair Hogwarts, that would've been AMAZING to see, and then finally use the Elder Wand to repair his original wand. Breaking the Elder Wand was an interesting touch but I think putting it back inside Dumbledore's grave would've been more appropriate.

i really really loved the first 2 films but i think it just went downhill from there.. i dont know it just felt like something had changed from the 3rd onwards n i didnt like it..anyway book-wise ive read only till the 5th and loved em all but my absolute favorite is definitely the prisoner of azkaban

the worst harry p movie was half blood prince for 2 reasons:
1. they don't achieve anything relevant (except killing dumbledor)

@albinomonkey27 In the book the fight between the two ends quickly, I had to re-read it because I wasn't sure what just happened. And J.K Rowling wanted the film to be as true to the book as possible as it was the last one, due to the numerous book to movie mistake before and the fact americans seem to call it Sorcerors stone rather than philosophers

@breasthound Because of the prophecy that they found in Order of the Pheonix, which implies that Harry and Voldemort are to kill each other. Voldemort heard the first part of the prophecy when Harry was a baby so that's why Voldemort tracked him down and killed his parents to get to him.
