I interpret this video as this is the world that him and his girl built together. It used to be pleasant but now its a desert. The numbers represent which fret you hold the string - the 0's are open, and the x's are strings not played. All you have to do is listen for chord changes at that point and you'll hear it. Pretty easy.

Pat is one of the greatest singer/songwriter of all times. if you haven't ever seen Train live your missing one of the best concerts you will ever see. Believe me he is amazing. I think the problem is the truth is a fall song and it was released at the wrong time. The fact that idols usually have trouble with second singles didn't help either, but i really like the song and the lyrics

Kris deserves more respect, The reason why Kris has not been heard of so much is because 19 Recordings has been pushing Kris to the side and would rather promote Adam Lambert up the ass. 19 Recordings has been treating Adam like the winner when Kris was the real winner, and Jive has not done jackshit to promote Kris. Kris is better off leaving both Record Companies and finding a better one.
