I use this on my Airsoft guns, but I sometimes use it on my MP-15. Not quite as effective as something like an Eotech sight, but not bad for the price you pay.
I bought mine at wallmart and I have an airsoft sniper. It didn't have any iron sights and I couldn't find one to buy, so I bought a red dot. It took a while to find out how it worked, but it was worth it.
@hamsteryte I have no idea. I'd take it back to the store you bought it at and have it replaced. You are the second person that has had an issue like this. The first person had 2 dots instead of just one. All in all, I'd replace it and be happy with an inexpensive red dot.
how does this thing hold up to 7.62x39? most of the guys on CGN think this things for .22cals and wont hold up to .223 or 7.62x39, but from the reviews im reading from the USA shooters it seems like it may.
@UltraLightAngler view your iron sights,, and adjust the red dot it should be at the very bottom part of the sights and just add some minor adjustments,, thats it..
@247Danimal - I bought mine this morning and took it to the range, worked accurately - at 50 yards I had about 3-4" groups off the bench. I'm not a super accurate shooter, I just like to have fun and shoot rather quickly. One thing I had a question about is when looking thru the optic portion the left hand side seems to have a "red glare", the same type of red that is on the front of the lens. Why is that? is my unit messed up?
@247Danimal I've never noticed a red glare in mine when I shoot and I'm always in direct sunlight. I'm not an expert on optics so I can't say what would cause that. But I can say mine doesn't.
I haven't had a chance to get out to use it in action. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow of the day after and do some shooting with it. I'll be sure to post an update on it. But it feels like a solid piece and I've no worries about its performance.
@davewlm I've had it on for a while now and originally I purchased it to see if I even want a RedDot on my AK. After some time I have decided I love it and I'll keep it on there.

I got one and it's actually pretty nice for on the cheap. although a bit hard to mount but the dot is nice and especially the rubberized finish.

Did this cowitness to your iron sites?
invicta8926 1 year ago
@invicta8926 I'm assuming you meant cover. Yrs it does cover the iron sights. With it in place it's all you get, but its easy to remove.
