  • Sounds great, but also could use a bassoon.

  • im playin this in band.... its fun to bob up and down to...

  • This is the *cockiest* march I have ever heard... It says something about the men who are in the Regiment Parachutiste Belge... chips on their shoulders, and considering what they've done they earned them.

  • I also played this song in the junior high region 10 of Texas band with Mr. Nolan as the conductor. I was fifth euphonium.

  • Im a freshman at Haughton High School and We're playing this! soun ds like the same arrangement too! Its so much fun! love this song

  • I am proud to say that I played this song in the 2011-2012 all-region band of Texas. Middle school. Conductor: Mr. Nolan.

  • I proud and honored to say i played this March at All Region and are Conductor for that evening was Mr. Joseph T. Spaniola On Jan 14, 2012. He's AWESOME!!

  • The US Marine band is so awesome and disciplined that they can play without moving. They do it with their mind.

  • I just played this yesterday at All-Region. So difficult.... yet soooo fun. I play Clarinet. I got 1st band 2nd chair.

  • @Mwagolovesnaruto what state?

  • I'm playing this in my band. Fun song

  • my junior high is playin this. this soong is alright nothing special tho

  • @SaxMistro The reason that a it's not "special" is probably because you aren't playing right.

  • luv it

  • My junior high symphonic band played this a few weeks ago, we played fairly well, the clarinet part was definetaly challenging but it was fun. I thought we were great, until I heard this USMC band play it. They're so precise its amazing

  • Much better than the Coast Guards.

  • @LeonisDeGemini When you have a risky and deadly life, you need something to perk you up. :)

  • @musicCRAZY12345 be careful what you wish for, it's a good song, but over the course of four years and 2 highschools I've played it all four of them

  • Thank you! So well done!

  • this arrangement is really cool. i can't wait for my band to play this!

  • I played the drums in this 1 :D and i'm belgian :D!!! twice a much fun!!! XD

  • Symphonic band at my school is doing this song!!! I play the oboe!

  • @Burrito50cal except for euphonium part

  • Bass part is so easy :D

  • all i can think of when i hear this piece is George N Parks Drum Major Academy! this is the song we would always conduct to!

  • Wow. The orginal tempo is faster than i thought. Great job. Wish we had actual fotage

  • This is the exact tempo.

  • According to this piece, the Belgian Paratroopers were cuppy cake princesses.

  • @mattpva777 Choose your words wisely my friend. The Belgian paratroopers may be cuppy cake princesses, although I rather doubt that, but this is also the march of the British SAS and I assure you they are no cuppy cake princesses.

  • @NVIDEA212

Nicely said. At least you're not forming an opinion of a subject you don't know everything about. mattpva772, I can assure you, they were/are no cuppy cake princesses. Greets from BELGIUM.

  • @kornflakez666 Thank you. Are you from the Dutch speaking part of Belgium or the French? Anyways respect to both the Belgian parachutists and the SAS.

  • @NVIDEA212 The Dutch ;) we prefer to call it Flemish :)

  • @kornflakez666 Vlaams, dan kunnen we Nederlands praten dat scheelt :) Ik woon dichtbij de Belgische grens (Breda). Heb je ervaring met de 'Belgian Parachutists' ? ;)

  • @NVIDEA212 grootoom (of iets dergelijks :p) was paratrooper. We hebben niet zoveel contact met hem, maar ik moest de eer toch een beetje hoog houden, hé xD.

  • Is dit een Belgische Mars? Zeer mooi en hoopvol :D Is this a Belgian march?

  • I played this in high school and now my section leader is in the marine corps band. lol

  • Anyone else think this is a little too happy for the most risky division of the military?

  • @LeonisDeGemini lol I can only imagine.....

  • @LeonisDeGemini

only happy when in trouble :)

  • @LeonisDeGemini Why should we have a sad march??? When we parade it means that we have accomplished the tasks ..reason enough to be happy!!!

  • I'm twelve years old and playing this :)

  • @AnonisAmo same here!!

  • @horsecrazygurl2010 Cool! :)

  • I remember this in high school too. Euphonium. I was like, "what are all these boring whole notes on top of all these ledger lines?" But I could play my part all day long and just listen to the rest of the band.

  • sounds amazing. nice job.

  • im in eighth grade and playing this i feel honored

  • proud to be belguim

  • We played this in our County Band and it's such an awesome song. The original version is way better than the edited version.

  • nice preformance

  • :) I played this in highschool and really enjoyed it. I like the tempo of this recording..so much better than many other versions! *two thumbs up*

  • i sat here for about half a minute waiting for the video to start moving, then i realized it was a still photo :P

  • @happyman1011 It took me until 3:11 to realize it was a still photo... Because that's when I read your comment... If that wasn't there, I would probably still be wondering why nobody is moving...

    Fml

  • this is one of my favorite marches along with Slidin' Steihl and United Nations
