Please do not say the lead in is too long; it was a long war. Roger Dale "Butch" Cecil, KIA 7/6/67; William "Bill" Wilson, KIA 3/30/69; William Haskell ""Billy" Smock, KIA 8/27/68; Walter Hugh Moon, MIA PD 7/22/61; Rickey Pile, KIA 3/22/67. May it never be said that your dying was in vain for it taught so many how to live. You will never be forgotten. Welcome Home.
A soldier died in the field of battle and came up to the gates of heaven, where he met God. He said to God," Lord, I know I did many things i ain't proud of, and many more that you won't approve of, so if you send me to hell, I won't argue." God stood there for a moment, and then turned to the gatekeeper of heaven. "Let him in", he said.? The gatekeeper, confused, asked why. God looked down at the soldier and said," This man just came from hell."
This is a very good song video is powerful---in Canada population smaller we may know the home town of those killed--but in The US to realize that each of these people came from somewhere-hard caring family makes the name on the wall more meaningful
I have a great-great uncle who fought in our (un)civil war to FREE CERTON PEOPLE OF A CERTON COLOR from slavery. Anouther great uncly went dwn with a ship to keep hitler and his hounds from turning us all into his slaves. If you do not like such songs and speaches, the commies would like to keep you captive just a little less then killing me for mine. Praie the true and liveing God for our founding fathers.
If you can watch this and not cry you have no soul. An excellent job was done in putting this together. My heart goes out to all of the families in past and current wars,
LCPL Charles Edward Harris, a very dear friend of mine from Chowan College, is a hero whose name is on this wall. And yes....he is more than a name on the wall.
from a quiet family on Betty`s Creek Rd in Dillard Ga, we know the years are going fast now, and it has been 44 years since that cold snowy day in November at the Little Tennessee River Baptist Church, but we will NEVER forget NOAH CHANDLER COLLIER, killed October-1966 in Vietnam, every fall when the leaves turn, and blow down Bettys Creek Rd, it make me think of Chandler, who died fighting for his country at age 19, we will always love and remember this kind, good mountain boy,
@SAMODAN i I am very sorry for your loss..I will not pretend to know how you feel or the deph of sorrow you feel. But next time you say a prayer, will you give him my respect and thank him for serveing our Country... Dang, I am crying
@SAMODANO1 I was blessed to have my brother come home. Please feel my sincerest and heartfelt condolences for your loss,Noah will be added to my thoughts and prayers. God speed my friend.
My daughter went to Iraq, but I'm lucky. She came home alive and in one piece. I am so thankful for all the men and women who fight to keep us free.
