@harlyops same dad different mothers. when born you (more or less) take on the appearance of your birth mother. Since Helena's mom was blonde, caucasian, and french she got her appearance. Since Kokoro's mom is Japanese, has black hair, she looks like her mother.

Same can be said for Ayane, kasumi, and Hayate. Although Ayane got her fathers hair color (I guess), she got her mothers everything else.

um okay, she's a protagonist, but not MAIN character. She has her own side storyline that intertwines with Helena's story because after Helena inherets DOATEC, who made Alpha. Helena goes deeper into the death of her mother and finds out that it was Christie. Everyone else's attempts to stop Alpha-152, including Kasumi's, was to help HELENA. If Alpha-152 is the only proof you can give to say Kasumi is the main character, then you can go ahead and shut that down. No disrespect intended.

Hrm I actually agree with In some regards. I really liked "blood tie" from doa3 it seemed more geared towardher personality n story i liked the melody. THis track is actually one of the better tracks in doa4 ( Helena ALWAYs gets good themes) however I liked her doa3 theme a lil better than this. but this one is till good, esp whenu battele her as a boss when playing as or against christie in their final confrontation.
