Is there a way to have a tremolo in a ternary time signature ? Ex: you're in 12/8 and you want a tremolo between 2 notes during the first beat (which equals 3 eights). It drives me crazy !!! Thanks
I just ordered TG Tools Pro, and haven't figured out how to use it yet, but I will say this. Tremolos in "Articulation" in Finale, are how string and percussion tremolos are supposed to look. These here are "piano tremolos," and are intended for notating intervals from a 2nd to an octave or beyond. If you placed this music score in front of a cellist, he would think he is supposed to played 32nd notes on descending 6ths. String and percussion tremolos have hash marks through the note stems.
@RomanticPianist thank you for bringing this up. Kind of embarrassing, actually, but correcting this mistake will give me a chance to make this tutorial better. Thanks again!

@qwerpoiu100 if you wanted tremolo for the first triplet group in a 12/8 bar, you would notate it between two dotted eighths.

when you input notes what is your preferred method? do you ever use midi keyboard and step the beat out with the foot pad?

@grahmdionable I personally use my keyboard with speedy entry. I've been meaning to do a tutorial on this subject soon..
