when your at the mansion, theres a room where there is a locked cabinet, i forgot where the key is im sure its somewhere in the mansion but just like any other FF game explore everything before moving on, good luck

The game was out last year... even before it was out, I roughly know what it's about already. Is Zack Cloud's brother? Zomg kids these days... attracted by graphics purely and know jackshit. Don't even bother finding out simple facts.
Zack is Aeris ex-boyfriend, and the 1st class soldier who Cloud THOUGHT he was. We learn this in disc 1 at Midgar, Disc 2 in the life stream, and in the end of the game if Zack fights sephoroth

I've never understood why Square never made a full out sequel to FF7. They did it for 10, and they've made these side stories. But I think what the fans have always wanted was a straight game sequel and not just a movie.
the wolf is a depiction of cloud's lingering regrets. it appears in 3 key areas 1.) the buster sword memorial where Zack died 2.) the flower bed at Aerith's Church 3.) the pool in the forgotten capitol where Aerith was laid to rest. You see at point 3 that the wolf mysteriously vanishes because it was during that scene with Vincent that Cloud began to forgive himself and at the end of the movie when he slays his demons the wolf returns to his side and vanishes
Well Zacks story takes place before cloud comes in the pic. So this is the prelude of FF7 Zack's story which was never told. Play FF7 for ps1 you will get a better understanding.

Everything WeaponXsigma says is correct. As we remember from ff7 Cloud is stabbed and then Cloud grabbed Sephiroths sword, lifting him up and then throwing him down into the core. In this version it is just a little diffrent. More stabbing, but the end result is the same, Seph is beaten. Would be nice to play FF7 on the PS3 if it is ever released but if it is it will be atleast another 3 years. I always play it now and then, the old version, to refresh my memory :)

Evrythin appened in the story that cloud tells in kalm, but the thing is, cloud is telling it from zacks point of view, he is saying he did everything that zack did, hes taking the credit, and cloud is actually the SOLDIER who feels travel sick, and the one who waits outside the reactor
I think this game is one of the best final fantasies yet one of the main reasons is because they re-did the video I think it's amazing. when does this come out it reminds me of kgdmhrts!
And the events after the fire happened that resulted as well happened. Tifa being sliced by Sephiroth, Zack being messed up, Cloud stabbing Sephiroth and then later on Cloud being wounded by Seph but then Cloud tossed Sephiroth into that reactor and passing out. Then 2 years after the fire, Zack and Cloud wake up in that lab in the Nibelheim manor basement, then Zack and Cloud heading to Midgar but Zack gets shot and killed protecting Cloud, thus beginning the FF7 story.

It does get kind of confusing, but if you play it a few times over, the whole story get more clear each time. Cloud was in SOLDIER. He just wasn't 1st Class like Zack was.

Wow, Zack. Awesome. For those of you who know FFVII, you could easily say "Cloud is back", eh? And Aeris too? Awesome, everything I'd dream a prequel would be. I am definitely reserving this title as soon as it can (and if it is available for reservations, I am running down to Gamestop tomorrow).
Because he read the script and found out that he was going to die only to let that wuss Cloud steal the show by pretending to be him. And also make cameo appearances in FF Tactics and Kindom Hearts. He felt like those spots should be his. I'd cry too.
when cloud meets aerith, most of the time he talks about the Soldier, but aerith knows thats not the whole truth, because most of the story he says is the same as Zack's history, which later on we find out that he wasnt all that he said he was. The pink ribbon is not for cloud and tifa, its for aerith as icywisteria pointed out. Aerith gets in a love triangle with cloud and tifa
umm in FFVII, if you remember, Aerith said she had a boyfriend who was also in SOLDIER when cloud and her first met.. so that must be Zack. Don't think cloud and tifa ever got married, but had some mutual relationships (the red arm bands in AC). Crisis core is when it all began.. before FFVII
i agree ferrari,you gotta remember that in FFVII cloud and tifa did have a relationship until he turned 16 and went in the military to be a soldier. At this time Zack is dating Aerith and Zack and Cloud are just meeting each other being good comrades. Late in FFVII Cloud develops a relationship for Aerith and then they start to fall in love and she see clud as her exboyfriend Zack.
So the sequence is.... Crisis core, final fantasy VII, and then AC
tifa likes cloud but cloud don't know it. crisis core is the beggining then ff7, then digre of cereberus, then the movie. that's the time line but came out in different ways.
Cloud is no such thing, he was with zack when he was from soldier, cloud worked for shinra and he done some missions with zack and sephirot until sephirot turned against shinra because of all the jenova thing, Cloud almost died, then Zack took him to Midgar, some soldiers killed Zack and left Cloud to die, he was retrieved and suffered some expieriences with mako, somehow cloud started to think that he was zack, Cloud met Aeris in midgar and she joined him, who played the original must remeber.
they are not 100% sure if they are going to create one...they basically wanted to show off the ps3 graphics, since you could compare it to the movie, Advent Children

cloud was a sephiroth clone..but they thought he wasnt good enough so they threw his ass away..zack was just some fukin guy there dat was a sephiroth follow...truth is cloud ended up being better than both of them am i right? DUH

bit confusing though cos cloud wasnt in soldier, i think he was a clone of zack then they escaped and zack dies outside midgar so cloud takes his sword and without knowing his identity.
mite not be fully right but thats the gist of it.
oh and i think cloud also got sepiroths or jenovas genes.

It does get kind of confusing, but if you play it a few times over, the whole story get more clear each time. Cloud was in SOLDIER. He just wasn't 1st Class like Zack was.

Wow, Zack. Awesome. For those of you who know FFVII, you could easily say "Cloud is back", eh? And Aeris too? Awesome, everything I'd dream a prequel would be. I am definitely reserving this title as soon as it can (and if it is available for reservations, I am running down to Gamestop tomorrow).

Because he read the script and found out that he was going to die only to let that wuss Cloud steal the show by pretending to be him. And also make cameo appearances in FF Tactics and Kindom Hearts. He felt like those spots should be his. I'd cry too.

when cloud meets aerith, most of the time he talks about the Soldier, but aerith knows thats not the whole truth, because most of the story he says is the same as Zack's history, which later on we find out that he wasnt all that he said he was. The pink ribbon is not for cloud and tifa, its for aerith as icywisteria pointed out. Aerith gets in a love triangle with cloud and tifa

umm in FFVII, if you remember, Aerith said she had a boyfriend who was also in SOLDIER when cloud and her first met.. so that must be Zack. Don't think cloud and tifa ever got married, but had some mutual relationships (the red arm bands in AC). Crisis core is when it all began.. before FFVII

i agree ferrari,you gotta remember that in FFVII cloud and tifa did have a relationship until he turned 16 and went in the military to be a soldier. At this time Zack is dating Aerith and Zack and Cloud are just meeting each other being good comrades. Late in FFVII Cloud develops a relationship for Aerith and then they start to fall in love and she see clud as her exboyfriend Zack.
So the sequence is.... Crisis core, final fantasy VII, and then AC

tifa likes cloud but cloud don't know it. crisis core is the beggining then ff7, then digre of cereberus, then the movie. that's the time line but came out in different ways.

Cloud is no such thing, he was with zack when he was from soldier, cloud worked for shinra and he done some missions with zack and sephirot until sephirot turned against shinra because of all the jenova thing, Cloud almost died, then Zack took him to Midgar, some soldiers killed Zack and left Cloud to die, he was retrieved and suffered some expieriences with mako, somehow cloud started to think that he was zack, Cloud met Aeris in midgar and she joined him, who played the original must remeber.

they are not 100% sure if they are going to create one...they basically wanted to show off the ps3 graphics, since you could compare it to the movie, Advent Children
